How to Make Pekka Useful Again

The Pekka stops being good once you get to TH9 and above. The Pekka is a really cool, powerful troop, but it's just not good right now. A few tweaks and I think she'll be back in action. I think having a combination of the following ideas would do a lot to bring the Pekka back to attacks more frequently.

• Remove Hidden Tesla double damage: Right now the Tesla does double damage to Pekka, and it shreds Pekka. This is what it was meant to do, but it's a little too effective.
• Remove Hidden Tesla favorite target: Combined with the double damage to Pekka, having the Tesla target the Pekka first, if it's not locked onto anything else, takes the Pekka right out of the fight and basically makes it a non-factor.
• Increase the Pekka speed: A contributing factor to the Pekka's decline is that it's so slow. It walks slow and swings even slower. The movement speed isn't that big of a deal, but the attack speed really needs to be increased. Even with it's high damage, a Pekka can get stuck on high hitpoint targets. It also takes forever to make its way through low hitpoint structures just because it is so slow.
• Bring level 4 Pekka to TH9: I think this should be done regardless of whether the Pekka gets reworked or not. I'm not even sure if this would help bring back the Pekka to TH9, but it's a start. Another reason is that there are two Pekka upgrades at TH10 and none at TH9. TH9 is a lot tougher than TH8 with the addition of X-Bows and the Archer Queen, plus upgraded defenses.
• Bring level 6 Pekka to TH11: I believe that this would occur at the same time as bringing the level 4 Pekka to TH9. It's hard to say whether the Pekka is more useless at TH9 or TH11, so this just makes sense. I'm a TH9 so I'm not sure how the Pekka is at TH10, but I think it's better than at TH9.

I think some combination of these would be good to make the Pekka relevant again. It probably does not need all of the reworks though, because then the Pekka might be too strong. Although, the Pekka is so weak right now that it might need all of them, just don't make the Pekka too fast.

Tbh mate I think if you started tweaking with the troop you would make it just to strong, it is good the Tesla's rip a pekka down otherwise you would suddenly find they were just to powerful for the game.
Which again is why the speed issue needs to be kept the same, a faster more resistant form of this troop would just way out balance the game

PEKKA is useless at TH9, which is why you shouldn't use it if you're TH9.

Some of the ideas I like.

Pekkas actually aren't useless at TH9. I used to farm with one in my CC. It may not be the ideal troop for a strategy to 3 star a base, but when you are farming and trying to save up DE to upgrade your heroes, they work quite well. I farmed with giants, wizards, healers, and a pekka to load up on DE to get my heroes upgraded at TH9.

pekka is not useless for th9... war clan is using HPHB apart of HGHB. check out clash with ash youtube recap on war against one hive. one hive member use 3 pekka instead of 12 giants for the 3s attack. right tool go to the hand of right person is always useful and powerful. it just the way why some people consistently 3s with mass troops and some just can't.

It should just be reduced to 20 Housing Space I think.

But Clone Spell and Skeleton Spell are even more worthless and they need fixing first.

No, no, yes, yes. Hidden Tesla needs to have its advantage over Pekka, but moving lvls around and adding another could help.

lvl 6 pekka at th11
