Clan family systems

I read about how SC feels about the increasing need of new stuff as a clan levels up. I have a idea that doesn't hurt new clans because nobody wants to join them.

So basically there are clans out there that are "sister" clans or "feeder" clans. I believe once a clan reaches a certain level, they would have the option to add a clan to their family tree. Maybe once the clan reaches another certain level they can add another. SC can figure out what specific details that I have not mentioned. I have only said the gist of it. I might add more later when I have time.

i have decided to revisit this idea, because some people want me to go into more detail. so basically when a clan becomes lvl 11-15 they have the ability to create a family tree. How will they be able to do this??? Possibly they can do it for free...or the clan as a whole must donate 500 million gold, into the clan pot, in order to be able to create a tree.

as you level up, you can add one family tree. But each family tree gets more and more expensive. However, all clans in the family tree have the ability to donate Gold in order to add another clan.

example: level 11 clan can have one sister clan. lvl 12 can have two. etc...

I don't think this will have a huge impact on new clans because there are few clans that are even lvl 11. of course as the game goes on there will be more.

Q: Can clans that share a family tree war against one another?

A: No, but they can have friendly wars against each other.


Q: Isn't 500 million expensive? Will there be a daily donation limit to the clan pot?

A: Yes but if you think about it a clan of 50 could easily do that in less than a day. To be honest, if Supercell implements this in the game it might be more expensive. Yes there will be a daily donation limit because someone could donate all of their gold into the clan pot and there wouldn't be gold for the person that raids them.

Q: Can you donate troops to the other clan?

A: No

Q: Can leaders/coleaders jump from one family clan to another?

A: I wouldn't mind being able to go back and forth but it may just be a thing only the leader can do.

A: I think the max should be 5.

That'd be superb. Allowing individual friendly challenges between connected clans as well, perhaps?

I'd love to see some more social aspects added to the game, including the ability to move between clans more easily and communicate with affiliated clans. It's not as clear, though, how it would affect new clans. A good clan alliance will have many, many seats to fit new players and their profile would be higher than a new clan. New clans would not only need to compete with top clans for players, but then they'd need to compete with these large groups. Imagine things as a new player. Which would you rather join, a new clan just starting out, or a large family of clans where you can reap the knowledge of hundreds of other players? However, you are correct that it would also allow new clans to join an alliance and open up new opportunities for them. It's just not clear whether it would turn into a positive or a negative for new clans.

Oooh, donates/reqs between connected clans?

In principle I agree that there should be clan family system. As an owner of this idea you should provide more detail so that we will decide to support this idea or not.

idk...that would seem a bit chaotic in my opinion. the clans wouldn't be put together in one big chat if thats what you're thinking. they'd be separate but still in the same clan family.

They could just make clans larger at higher levels rather than making a tree. A tree would be an interesting idea though, how would you implemement it? Recognition on clan profile?

i believe that the idea to make clans larger is already ruled out. implementing it??? im guessing u mean to ask 'how would you connect clans'. my idea is a simple request but the only person that can accept the request is the leader. if a clan info button is made, it could show the clan family tree.
