Banned From Global

CDsHiFu So today I have been banned from global chat for the first time in my life. Although I've been playing coc for over 2 Yeats I haven't used global chat at all.


Today for the first time I seriously used and had some real fun while chatting with others on global. Yes, I did troll a bit too much and I was constantly harassing other users with my witty remarks.


Anyway, looks like I was reported by some users and I won't be able to use global chat till tomorrow.


I wanna know what's the rule here? I mean if I get banned for couple of times from global chat, will supercell bann me permanently? I Just don't wanna risk my account for getting some harmless fun.

You wont get banned from game for getting banned in global chat.

Be careful though. If you troll too much and it really hurts somebody they can take screenshot and send it to SC support which gets u a soft ban for 2,3 days for ongoing toxic mentality. People get upto 2 weeks ban. I have never heard anybody getting a permaban for being a jerk but that might happen in really extreme cases.

Also global chat comes under your countries cyber laws. For legal reason SC keeps an record of every chat you ever posted. So its not hard to find an pattern. Repeated offence punishable by your counties laws like grooming and taking advantage of minors can land you in legal trouble. Hiding behind a screen doesnt make you safe.

All i can say is be careful.

All I can say is don't go to global unless you need to go & I don't any case in which you need to go there. Don't try to test if you will be banned because there are some cases where things which normally don't result in bans caused bans for the offenders. Keep in mind that it is not worth the effort :)

Thanks for the responses guys. I was just enjoying some friendly banter on global, nothing serious. U know how it goes on global. Like hey l*s*r....... how's ur tiny th 8 holding up? I m the best...... Can 3* th 11s with ease........ Can 3* ur tiny th 7 with gobs........ LOL.

If you want to start a war on Global just say "soccer sucks" gets them fired up fast.

Maybe I'm just too old to get why it's so fun to call people losers and get them fired up....

Same. That's half the issue with global, the age range. Teens sitting in their bedroom 'trolling' other kids sitting in their bedroom. Everyone else just looks on and sighs, will adding a report.

I get pretty rude to people who post "looking for girl/boy" or who swear a bunch in global, but otherwise I'm pretty friendly. Just don't be a douchebag and you won't ever get reported enough for a ban.

Actually glad to hear people get banned! I don't go on much but i seem to report someone every time i do because the things they say. Best to just stay out of global.

Lol does that really work? I'm not really one to troll but I may have to to test this a few times and see if it actually works. :smirk:

Getting banned from Global is like being told by a horrible blind date that she doesn't like you.
