Glad to see there's finally an effort for communication between developers and players here in the forum. Looking forward to what's in the developers' minds when it comes to arranged wars features that has been requested numerous of times from the war communities. :thumbsup:

Is there seriously anything being done about how unbalanced the trophies are when you're raiding versus being on defense??? I am a th 9 and I search for hours looking for bases to raid yet only get 5-8 trophy offers, but when I get forced to go on defense lose 26-30 against maxed th 11s???? How is that even fair?? Also not being able to ever revenge anyone makes it useless because they either have a shield or guard all the time. I would like to see some more defenses won instead of losing every defense because of th 10 and 11 just walking through my base taking way too many cups with bowlers or miners.

Like many people I am also frequently buying and selling the pekka statue in order to destroy gold as I have nothing left to spend it on short of upgrading my townhall. However, each time I sell and buy it back to burn 900K gold the timer for friendly challenges resets.

Is it possible to ignore decorations for the friendly challenge timer and maybe also allow activating bases without placing all decorations?

Please don't remove global chat. Its important for my clan's survival, since I recently found that recruiting on the forums doesn't work very well anymore. Almost no one ever sees it, and because it is in the same forum as ONLY other people who want people, it just doesn't work well.

Engineering:
The team doesn't use the words 'engineered bases', they call them 'lopsided bases'.
A few months back they changed clan war weighting to stop people who had high level bases, but low level troops only upgrading the ones they used. But then people learnt to do the opposite. Clan Perks:

They don't want to increase the perks system because they too heavily influence people to join a specific clan, and in another year or two it would be extremely hard to recruit people into a startup clan with so many high level clans.

Heroes in War:
Still a no to having upgrading heroes always available. However, they really want to have them in FC's, to allow for real practice, so it's very likely that we will see some changes there.

Global Chat & Co-Leader Chat:
Global chat has been on the radar for a long time, the problem is so many on the team have mixed feelings about it. Some want to get rid of it, others want to improve it because it's really the only in-game way of recruiting people. So nothing has been decided on this yet, but it's on the agenda for the next meeting.
In regards to co-leader chat, they love the idea of it, but are unsure of the implementation of it. Every single message is recorded due to legal reasons, and another chat is just more messages to store. So in short, the moderation of such a thing would be tricky, but also not ruled out now.

Friendly Challenges:
I can't give any details on what's coming in case things change, but you can expect a lot of improvements and changes to friendly challenges. One thing I stressed is the 24 hour cool down needs improvement. Especially if you are testing a base, and need to move a few traps, it can be rather frustrating waiting to try it again. They seemed rather receptive of having a minimum amount of moves before the cool down activates.
They also explained the cool down was never part of the design, but an addition to solve the modding issues that the community brought up during the sneak peeks. And they are open to improving it.

Twister asked more specifically about ideas and feature requests on the forum, and revisited a lot of the old ideas that have been ruled out since 2012. So keep an eye on his posts as he knows more about that than I do. :)

I think for the purpose of matchmaking barch could be ignored since nobody in their right mind would farming troops in high level warfare. That would allow farmers to do casual wars with max farming troops without always facing impossible opponents. Downside is that barching for 50% after a secured win would be a bit easier.

On the other hand, if someone has max wiz, golems, valks/bowlers or high level heroes but no defenses, by all means, let him match up with the big boys who have all defenses built as he can bully them just fine.

Good ideas. Also add in increasing the range of fire for wiz tower, archer tower, and cannon at higher levels (th10+) to combat mass bowlers etc

Removing global chat is a disastrous idea - for me i have met many other high level peeps and we hook up and do fc and even before fc it was a great networking tool. it is the negative side of some of sc other games NOT having a global chat. just fishing through clans and trying to join to meet others is horrible. There would be so many upset peeps at the loss of global. DONT DO THIS SC :) Global plays a positive role not just the teeny bopper kids that plague it often ;)

Regarding Engineered bases - SC official position has been to call them a strategy - even called it 'smart' - now they call it lopsided that is funny!

Frankly Effort should be put into removing MODDERS the BIGGEST problem in war - let us chose peeps to war against modders instantly out of business - but obviously that wont happen. WOuld it not be amazing to have the ability to only war OTHER fair play clans??? Not over 30 percent of the matches being MODDERS - the most disheartening thing in this game.

I love clash , love most of the updates and look forward to troops etc. your efforts to stop them was good for a week or two but they are back stronger than EVER.

Thanks for taking time on your trip to talk to the devs. sure wish they would work on the serious issues at hand. Addressing eng. bases because of all the whiners on the forum instead of modders seems folly to me.
