New clan building- troop reserve? READ
I hate it when I want to donate troops but im saving my troops for a raid! I have came up with a proposition to fix this unsatisfaction: A troop reserve building.
Here's how it works!
This building can hold up to maybe 30-60 troops (this is just a random capacity; I dont know what it should be) and ever troop that goes in there can be used ONLY for troop donating. Lets say you want a spare dragon to donate but you want to have enough troops in your camps for an all out raid. Now you can put that dragon away in the troop reserve and still have full capacity in the camps for a good raid! But how do you make a dragon and make sure it gets in the reserve? Simple, I say the troop reserve should act as another barrack but instead of having to upgrade to unlock more troops, the reserve takes all the troops you have unlocked and lets you select whatever you like to store for donating! It should look exactly like your highest barrack level screen. But what if your reserve is full and someone wants a pekka instead of a dragon? There will be an added button that lets you "deelixirize" or destroy any troop you select for maybe 50% elixir back or none.
How it looks:
I was thinking it should be bunker looking!

Also, I was thinking LxW should be maybe a 3x3 , 4x4 or 5x5.
Why have it?
- Increases donations
- saves time
- and more raids
Please reply if you have any thought or if you have anything you like to add :) IF YOU LIKE IT, free bumbs and 5 stars would be nice ;)

I applaud you!
You sir, have made an original idea, which is good and makes sense! I too have trouble, as I can donate a dragon when my army camps aren't full, but then realize I was making my final 5 archers! Supercell needs to look at this.

No because the troops can only be donated to clan members, unlike the army camp which you can use to raid.
I think it's a great idea.

Completely agree, this is a great original idea!

This would make donating much easier

_ Good idea ^^
_ It's also that when you press "Donate", if the Troop Reserve and the Army Camp has the same type, then units in the Troops Reserve will be donated first.
_ If that troops type only available in Army Camp, you can still donate it as usual.
_ This way you won't have to move troops from Army Camp to the Troop Reserve every time for donating.
_ Also, not only for donating, I am thinking of some other uses for this building. Such as Clan Wars ...

I prefer a 3 by 3 clan reserve

Great original idea! Troop Bunker is a better name in my opinion.

Yeah, like you can't get a refund from the troops in your camp, you shouldn't get one in the Bunker if you remove a troop. But you should be able to do so.

I'd be cool with it as long as the reserve has a time table on it. As in, after 24 hours of a troop staying in there he dies. (disapears)
This will force you to donate the troops, instead of just reserving them forever. Forcing clan donations and more interaction with your clan.

Maybe this can be part of the clan castle. It would be simple because all your troops and clan stuff is there. Troops sent there can hide in the basement and not come out during attacks and can be sent to other players.
Good idea still. http://forum.supercell.net/images/smilies/smile.png

Clan Troop ReserveI approve of this idea! My thoughts: This structure would eliminate the, "I don't have any troops ready, hold on while I postpone my own raids to donate to you, etc." It would greatly increase donation rates. It would also encourage the donation of more expensive troops that take longer to train. It would allow you to stockpile and send troops at a moments notice.
Secondary concerns may be associated with game play balance. With an additional building, comes something extra to destroy or defend. It will affect the number of buildings required to 50%.
Awesome concept. I think this idea could easily be implemented in some shape or form. An alternative idea of mine may be to create a "clan troop reserve" as a subset of the clan castle where you can donate troops directly from your army camp, so that Members or Elders can go to the troop bank and select the troops they need. Leader could set restrictions on the quality of troops available by the rank of the clan member. for example, members have access to tier 1 and 2 troops, Elders have access to tier 3 and DE troops. This would provide a desired functionality for Elder rank and would encourage players to participate in order to achieve it without begging for it.
