Red Destroyers Lv7 Clan #2PG8GY9
Clean Language:
I want to foster a positive space where people can talk to each other and get along respectfully. It just helps everything run smoothly.
Promotions are earned:
Do both of your war attacks to the best of your abilities and you’ll be rewarded with elder status.
War:
Don’t even ask to be put in war. You’ll be considered for war when your “new” status wears off. At that point, if your donation numbers are good (shows how active you are) and you’ve managed to gain our trust by forming a positive relationship with the other clanmates, you’ll be put in war.
It takes a while and some people never even make it to the team, but this process is worth it because we rarely have deserters and we almost always have 100% participation.
War is usually twice a week and we keep them to 10 ppl usually. It’s much more
manageable when it’s small. Also, many people opt out so that they can upgrade their heroes, which is very important to do.
You MUST opt out if any hero, spell factory, or dark spell factory is being upgraded.
The war plan is usually to hit your same rank opponent, but sometimes that changes. If there’s no mail, just hit your mirror (same rank). If a mail is sent regarding a war plan, follow that.
Donations:
Donate before you request: If you request troops immediately after joining, you’ll be kicked on the spot. Try your best to keep a decent donate/req ratio but I’m not too picky about that.
More important than how much you req, is what you req for. Don’t ask for stuff you can’t make yourself. It’s important to practice with the troops that you can’t make, but if your troops aren’t very strong just say “anything, thanks” in your troop request. We’ll give you the best we have, and you’ll get to use max level troops, but just don’t be too picky about it.
Membership Requirements:
-To get into the clan, I prefer someone to at least be th7 with dragons unlocked.
This is flexible. If you see a th6 who shows promise and a good attitude, let them in.
-Watch out for rushed bases. Never accept someone who has obviously rushed their town hall, they’ll just keep doing it.
-ABSOLUTELY NEVER accept someone with a war timer, even if it’s down to the last seconds. They will leave us during war.
Expectations of Members:
-Do your best to get to know everyone.
-Talk on the chat log, post replays and ask for advice
-Donate as much as you can.
-Prove your strength and abilities so that you can get on the war team.
-Have fun.
Expectations of Elders:
-If you are an elder, it means we trust you to do two competent attacks in war. You must be out there practising, so raid often.
-You have the ability to invite people to the clan. Please use it. Go into global often and try to recruit new members all the time. It’s a job that never ends, so I need everyone helping out.
-If someone applies to join and you think they’ve got what it takes, go ahead and accept (or reject) them. You don’t need to wait for a co-leader or leader to do it.
-If someone is breaking the rules, go ahead and kick them out. By now, we trust your judgement. However, if you kick someone, you need to replace them so go back into global and try to get more.
-Do not accept people into the clan during war if they are not on your own global. They could be spies.
-Have fun.
Expectations of Co-leaders:
-Firstly, you are NOT the donation police. If all you do is nag others about their donation ratios, it shows me you don’t understand what your role is. There are so many more important things to do.
-Recruiting and managing brand new members is the most time consuming aspect of running a clan, so that is what I need the most help with.
-Please, always be out in global helping recruit new people. When they come in, welcome them and make yourself available to answer questions and make them feel like it’s an active clan.
-Give advice to others. When someone posts a replay, study it and give some compliment on what they did right, and some advice on what they could do better.
-Please leave the war declaration to me unless asked otherwise(see next point for clarification).
-Sometimes, a co will be asked to run a war. In that case, it’s up to that person to chose the team and start
the war. For that 48 hours, they’re basically the leader and whatever they say goes.
-If you are not willing to take care of these tasks, please be willing to accept eldership instead.
-Have fun.
Expectations of Leader:
-Pretty much moan about everything and make people feel terrible about their war attacks.
-Be online way too much and unsuccessfully micromanage every detail of my members lives.
-Spend more time in global trying to recruit than I spend in clan chat talking to my members.
-Feed my insatiable walls with gold and elixir stolen from inactive, dead bases.
-Act like my way is the best way and be totally inflexible to all other opinions.
-I tried having fun once. It was horrible.
ps, I like to do youtube reviews of wars and of peoples attacks. It's fun for me and it helps others learn.
