Maxes bases don't cause mismatching, that's where you're wrong. If a clan filled with max th10s searches for war, they'll get a clan filled with maxth10s or an engineered clan. In scenario 1, they have a fair fight. In scenario 2, they are at a disadvantage and it will be near impossible to win, because the enemy will have th11s with purposely low weight to abuse the system.

if you dont get that modding is fundamentally different because its outside th explicit rules, and that adding the word unfair into you argument simply is an assertion, leaving to circular reasoning, then iether you are trolling or you are not worth discussing the issue with.

still different sorry. engineering will never be on the same par as modding because modding is undeniablyy much worse and is actually unfair and cheating.

whereas SC at this current ime, considers engineering smart play and a strategy.

Modding is fundamentally different in how it works, but it has the same goal as engineering:

It lets you have an unfair advantage in war.

Really? Look at this thread. The thread creator's clan has 100 war wins from abusing the matchmaking. That seems just about as bad as modding. You just don't think it is because the problem isn't widespread yet. No one cared about modding when it first started.

and so does upgrading your troops or learning new strategies or designing better layouts or picking a good lineup for war or recruiting good players instead of noobs

Not at all. That lets you have a fair advantage in war. It doesn't cause huge mismatches because of how it abuses the system.
