I saw this argument a lot:
"It takes effort, effort should be rewarded."
Why should you reward exploiting? I could see defenseless bases being fine, if they weren't so exploitable. That's essentially what engineered bases are. You're taking something that messes up the matchmaking and abusing it to gain war wins.
And this one:
"It's strategy."
That didn't work for TH sniping, and it didn't work for zapping storages. SC obviously doesn't want the game to be played this way, or they wouldn't have promoted building up your base to defend against people.
You are not maxing out on the expense of others. I don't care if you are going to take my loot with barch or with the most expensive army there is. In fact if you keep your army costs low, you're helping the game economy on the long run. So no, abusing a bug in the matchmaker or farming efficiently are not the same thing.
logical fallicy, circular reasoning.
you say its abusing a bug in the matchmaker, no on knows if this is true except supercell, it may be smart strategy, it may be an exploit, your asserting its a abusing a bug in the matchmaker, when that is what the argument is about.
If you know its a bug in the matchmaker please enligheten us, supercell have said clash is a strategy game and we have freedom to grow as we wish.
Ur matchup on the video had 2 th10s against u and u guys had like 5 th11s ur 1 had maxxed heroes and GW with maxxed troops then u had some th10s how is 5 th11s vs 2 th10s fair . You know what ur doing don't try and say ur not an engineered clan that's exactly what u are and stop trying to pass the buck on ur bad behavior well people are modding ok so cause they cheat the system ur going to as well u guys suck.
I guess modding is fair then since everyone has the capability to do that.
It doesn't make it fair, it just makes it widespread, and eventually, the problem gets out of hand before SC does anything.
Defenseless bases would be fine if they didn't cause huge mismatches. That's the issue.
