Im a big fan of the dragon, I use them any chance i get, but it's very hard to get a 3 star with them at th9 unless I'm attacking a th8. Very rarely I see dragon raids above th8 anymore, sometimes at th9, but never at th10 or th11. I'm close to being maxed th9 soon and I'm looking forward to max dragon raids although I never see a th10 use them unless it's for defense! Perhaps it's time for a new "Max Dragon"? Feedback appreciated, thanks.
I agree. Level 1,2,3 dragons in Th7&8 are very good. Later on, they die easily to other defenses rather than just air defenses. Maybe the Level 6 Dragon would be Golden?
Yeah Golding it will be. Make it look bigger, bolder and meaner. Maybe even have it wear golden body armor like the giants or something...any thoughts on how it should look?
Since the colour of the Dragon have been transitioning from green to red, rather have a black-crimson colour dragon?
They just added a level 5 dragon not to long ago so I highly doubt that level 6 will be coming..I've seen th10s 3 star other 10s with drags but this is not a very reliable 3 star strat above th8

level 5 dragons can only 3 star a base at or around 65k weight... thats a new / mid th9 with two level 1 xbows...
If you throw in a Lava - and have max spells and big heroes you can clear up to 70k max th9's with the max dragons... But against any town hall 10 base its a 2 star attack..
If level 6 drags were invented - I expect they would be designed to be a guaranteed 3 star on a th9 base == comparable to how they wer emade for previous town hall levels.. which would enrage many players who dont want easy wars...
BUT even if these new level 6 dragons had the ability to three star a town hall 9=== you'd have to be town hall ten or eleven to get them and they would = still = be pretty useless... unless you really buffed them up and made =maybe a level 7 dragon that could three star a new th10 with level 1 infernos... then a level 8 dragon to three star the max th10's at 90k... and a level 9 and 10 dragon to 3 star the town hall 11's...
The point is = these troops were not meant to be used in end game.. I have no idea what their purpose is or why supercell chose to make level 5 available for th10 (when they are completely useless at that time)
The only solution I have found == is to rush town halls and keep low mirrors in war... so when you get to town hall 10 - with max dragons - you still get new th9 enemies and can actually USE those dragons in war still... This requires skipping many town hall 8 defenses -- ALL town hall 9 defenses and dont even thing about buying any town hall 10 defenses...
Then.. and only then- level 5 dragons can be used in war...
Really extreme... but thats the only solution until someone makes a level 6 to 9 dragon for end game wars.. lol
