How is my trophy hunting base? I don't care about recourses except dark elixir.

it's because 99% of people don't actually want advice, they just want people to tell them how awesome their base is. I can't count how many times this exact scenario happens over and over on the forums... someone posts a base asking for ways to improve, and when someone points out major flaws they try to convince you its still awesome.

The point in question is that if you want to survive at Crystal, and play with the big boys, you need to have what it takes. Your mortars must be flanked by wizard towers to cover up the smaller SA that mortars cannot, and your air defence is pathetic. I'm at TH8 and all 3 of my AD are Level 6, so please do max out all before you even start to think of yourself being sustainable. And your resources keep you going, unless of course you gem. You are gonna have to protect them well, because good armies cost significantly. Your loot bons at the moment probably isn't going to help cover everything. And why is dark elixir important to you? At Level 2 DE Storage (I'm at Level 4, for my TH8 last week) and personally, it only affects me because i'm using it for Golems/Heroes upgrade and since you're doing neither, DE is useless for you.

Hidden Teslas play a huge part - mine hit 6 just right before i began my upgrade to TH9 and now they're in the midst of going up to 7 because that's how important they are. At your base, i would wipe it out easily with 8/9 dragons, 20 archers, and 2 witches. Plus 3 LS (5) + 1 RS (5). So if you are to truly survive anywhere, especially hunting cups, you need to improve ALL of your defences. Or you will suffer, not me, but you.

@OP I suggest farm more before trophy hunting :) Those funneling are horrible and don't upgrade to TH 9 until you have upgraded to at least all maxed defense or close to it.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I am implementing some of your ideas. And yes my defences need work. I am in no hurry to go to town hall 9. I learned about all the loot difference after i upgraded. Yes I do appreciate the feedback. And as for the defence logs I'm just showing you how its been preforming.

I have also used pinfaos teslas theme park. I just did not like how they could pick off some buildings with 1 archer.
I need to know a little about funneling. Flammy tells you what it is but does not show you how to implement it into your base.

People tend to attack from the top as it seems to have less defences. So i swapped the wiz tower with the mortar.

If I'm a trophy hunter I will lightning your side by side mortars & air defenses in the red circles and attack from the north.
(1 dragon, 10 giants, 10 wall breakers, 20 babarians and 50 archers)
