Improve Player List when Searching for a War

I think the player list before searching a war should be improved. As a co, put the right players into war is very important. However, human error happens. Someone might decide to upgrade spell factory/heroes and forgot to tell everyone, and his war preference is green. Therefore, how about sort players by TH lvl when selecting players? Each play should has 4 additional symbols (one for king, one for queen, one for spell, and one for dark spell). Make those 4 symbols gray for not having it and green/red for available/unavailable. In this way, leader and co will know whoever is in the best shape for next war.

Also, please make player profile be able to view by tapping a player on war page when starting a war.

Not needed IMO. This seems like it is suggested to make up for a lack of responsibility by your clanmates. If your clanmates are consistently leaving themselves opted in with essential items unavailable for the duration of the war it is time for your leadership to make an example and require one to gem the upgrading item or be kicked.

Lots of players leave themselves opted in and time their upgrades to finish on prep or battle day. These players would find themselves being dropped from wars if this idea were to be implemented, unless the leader or co was willing to delay war search until they could question that player as to when their upgrade would finish.

Not all players can be on this game 24/7. This game has more casual players than you think. Maybe your clan has a lot of responsible players but remember this game is for 12+. Don't tell me you even require a 12 years old to be responsible. Gem up what's upgrading or kick him/her out of your clan. It's not one way and one way only. There are a lot of lv 8+ clans still have no idea what's going on and how to win a war. I have seen a clan lost all the way to lv7. In your opinion, they all should leave this game along, and SuperCell just lost a lot of customers.

Those 4 symbols can have the time required to finish, so leader and co can easily know who should be in the next war without asking a single word.

This game always needs improvement, and I think this should be one. I was been told Hogs doesn't need any improve by all the noobs here. In fact, it was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when no defense left. Targeting any building while allowing any troop attacking it. After I showed SuperCell a video, they just fixed a week later. Hogs are better and smarter now.

I wouldn't mind having the townhall level visible on the player selection screen, but I think the hero and lab status icons are unnecessary and would just create more problems as Aspex has said. If the players you add to your clan can't be responsible enough to opt out when they aren't able to war according to your rules, you probably shouldn't have them in your clan. They don't need to be on 24/7 - they are already online when they began their upgrade; opt out then.

If you opt yourself in or out of war, you can make your intentions known without speaking a single word.

As a leader, you should be putting the burden onto your members to be more responsible, not looking for more ways to encourage irresponsible behavior. I'm a responsible player, so in my clan where you must have both heroes alive to war, if I'm opted in, my heroes will be there when I attack no matter what the status is during prep day. I expect the same of all my players. I wouldn't want someone getting lazy and not bothering to opt out because they expect a leader to figure it out during the war declaration and I wouldn't want a player who timed his hero upgrade to finish during prep day to get excluded. Leaders have enough to do without having to double-check everyone's opt-in/out selection. If 25 are opted in, we just war - no looking, no checking, no asking, no judgment calls whatsoever.

Where did I mention being on 24/7? What relevance does someone not being able to be on 24/7 even have to this? And where did I say that people should leave the game? Don't argue that I have said things that I have not even implied.

My clan requires every member to be responsible where it affects other members, which opting in to war most definitely does. How other clans choose to run themselves is their concern but changing the game because they cannot adequately manage themselves is not something SC have shown a propensity for.

Your suggestion re timers still would not help as I am aware of many people doing the hero grind who will gem the last day or so to be able to participate in at least some wars. These people would find their opted in status being ignored and end up excluded from wars. And how much space/clutter do you want for the war selection screen?

Your point with hogs is revealing. Your referring to people who disagreed with your opinion as "noobs" aside, you are wrong. Once all defences are down, hogs (and other defence targeting troops) will still finish off the building they are currently attacking before reacting to a unit attacking them.

Yea, not all casual players do anything you said. It's not encourage irresponsible behavior. It will make less work for co and leader. Don't tell me you would require that much from a 12 yr old. And human errors do happen. There is always someone decides to upgrade without opt out. If you want that much, join army and you will have all the fun you want. This is just a game not a war.

Yes players who doesn't communicate to co or leader and not having everything ready when selecting players WILL be DROPPED. You want to join, say it. Just think what would happen you attack without any spell? Even TH 8 doesn't take more than 3 months, and some players are still catching up.

Hogs aren't like what you are saying anymore. It attacks nearby troops first now. People didn't see that problem are truly noobs. That's why SuperCell put it into their June updates. There was a same update in the mid June a week after I sent my video to SuperCell.

lol. Yeah, because asking your members to click a box is the kind of commitment required by military service. Twice now you've made the excuse that your clan is full of irresponsible 12-year-olds. Putting aside the fact that the game doesn't permit 12-year-olds to play, have you ever actually talked to a 12-year-old? They're completely capable of clicking on a box. Some 12-year-olds dress themselves, make their own lunches, and walk to school all by themselves. They have paper routes, they babysit, they take out the dog without asking, and they even raise their younger siblings. Maybe if you tried treating them as people capable of clicking on box rather than just assuming that they're too irresponsible to ask anything of them, you'd get better results. Regardless, if you've built a clan of irresponsible players of any age, then that's a clan leadership problem. I wouldn't admit anybody I didn't feel capable of clicking a box, because for certain if they couldn't be relied upon to click the box before you searched for war, there's absolutely nothing stopping them from beginning a hero or spell lab upgrade after you searched for war. Or just skipping the whole war for no apparent reason at all.

By saying that players should be communicating with clan leadership you are now arguing the opposing side to that you gave as a rationale for proposing this idea in the OP.

LOL You don't even know the difference!? Before the June update, hogs would go after TH or other building and let king keep attacking them. Now, the new update actually allows hogs to fight back once the building they were targeting is done. The fact that they start attack the king is a big difference to earlier version. I am sorry to say, but you don't have enough experience with hogs. I am not going to talk to a noob regarding hog's new update anymore. It's funny to see you even provide a video showing your lack of knowledge.

Watch more goho attacks before June and do it now. You will see a difference.

I then posted a video showing exactly the behaviour that I had described, which you had said was not current hog behaviour.

Then, in your latest post you describe the behaviour that I had originally said (that you had previously denied occurring) when you say "the new update actually allows hogs to fight back once the building they were targeting is done".

There was no update to the hog AI in June. I don't think there was even an update in June. That video could have been 6 months old, the hogs would have behaved in the same way.

You do realise that calling others "noob" only reflects poorly on you? And for you to claim greater experience as an attempted put down just adds to the irony.

Edit: There were a couple of maintenance breaks for server-side fixes following the May update on June, but nothing announced as new.
