Keep 'em :). Like you, we have a mostly adult clan. We have a handful of kids who stick around because they're serious about the game and they don't like the drama in kid clans. I'm always surprised they enjoy being with a bunch of 30-45 year olds, but they seem to.

Age is not a problem if you act mature. But if you lie? It is a good bye. Should tell asap in first few days in the clan.

Why do you even ask their age? If they are mature and playing the part then who cares how old they are - you can normally tell if someone is very immature fairly quickly anyway without asking.

If it is because you are worried about exposing a young child to adult banter (if that is the nature of your clan) then fair enough I understand but it may be too late in this case if he has been with you a while.

Trust is an issue if this guy has been untruthful, but next time just avoid it by not asking for their age I suggest.

I'm a sophom*re in high school, and I haven't run into any problems with joining adult clans so far. There's kind of an age cutoff of 14-15, which makes sense because language in those clans can get pretty harsh. For the most part, though, leaders are okay with minors provided that they're pretty good at playing the game and have grammar consistent with that of an average adult.

I agree with clan rule are rule. Why have them if you are not going to implement them.

I would keep them. As long as they are mature, they deserve to stay

As long as they follow orders and aren't disrespectful to others in the clan then lying about age isn't a problem for me

Thats a crazy question, if they've earned respect treat them with respect. Just because you're a certain age doesn't magically make you decent and reliable.

I have an adult clan and I will accept certain ones as long as they are respectful. In this I would let him stay for the fact I can understand why the lie was told. Although it was dishonorable, understanding must be given to why the lie was told.

We have encountered this before. There have been a few instances of very mature yet younger individuals joining our clan and they have been great members. As long as they are on par with the rest of the clan behavior (let's face it we aren't all saints) no reason to part ways solely for that. Also just be sure the keep them out of the nsfw chat room we have in our discord :smirk:
