Honestly I read every post in this thread and the OP was rude to many legitimate responses.
His original question was answered correctly and politely multiple times.

You and OP just have bad attitudes, that's why there are responses like that. Look no further then yourself.
Op could have searched the forums of the Wiki for the answer, hell, even Google would have given it. Instead he made a whiny post on the forum and kept on whining, even after several people tried to explain to him in their own personal time how the Tesla ranges work. If you're surprised you get some flak after that, you simply don't have a lot of social experience (or don't care about others).
If you don't like the forums, I would kindly suggest you stay away, we really don't require your presence.
For the tesla, no additional rings are required, just detract 1 from the attack range to get the trigger range. Simple enough, millions of people have been capable of doing this for 4 years.
the problem with utilizing the trigger as the range is then someone will come on here with "evidentiary proof" that the teslas are attacking outside of range. I guess it's best to read descriptions and ask questions, but not to make snap judgements. If op would like to see a change then that change should be discussed in ideas subforum where people are more willing to discuss the ideas merits. Personally I understood the range before I even got teslas as I read the information previous to adding them so I could best decide where to place them. But I like to know what I'm getting into before hand.
Exactly this. I am honestly, occasionally, quite helpful regarding questions.
Providing they are not a rant or whine.
Regular lurkers see that behaviour all the time, and consequently see me being less than pleasant in return.
I've seen and done a fair bit of everything in the clash-verse, so if youve got a sensible question, I've likely got a sensible answer based on first hand experience.
If you then want to argue with perfectly sensible and/or correct responses from myself or others, then expect a snark.
Don't think that's too much to ask.
lol, OP reminds me of certain type of users I've supported in our company.
I understand that this tesla attack/trigger range thing can be a bit confusing to the new players, but what I don't understand is what's so hard to take a minute to read others' replies. Many people have given OP the correct answer, yet, instead of being grateful, OP chooses to be rude, ignores the legit replies and blames others for not explaining it clearly.
Your imagination brought you a little too far there. But as they say - you measure other people by your own yard-stick.
Good to see that everyone prefer to stick up rather to be objective.
Please, please quote my rudness. If you can. And the ignoring (watch out - might be tricky for you).
Right away his base was attacked for being "primmie", then his teslas, then was awarded a "moral forum award", then told "he wasn't going to win anyway", then called a whiner, then told to upgrade... He was asking a simple question... Then he was confused, defended himself from the off topic bombardment, understood and stated a follow up question and suggestion, to then only be mocked again.
It would be easier if the tesla showed trigger range, rather than attack range to set up your base. You know for sure coverage that way, there is no question if the ring was trigger range.
The tesla hasn't been around for four years...
And don't worry forum tough guy, I will again stay away...this your play ground...the original responses were the bad attitudes, not the defense from them.
