So I'm a TH8 and was wondering what the best army composition for getting a ton of loot is without caring about the cost or training time of troops. I usually train a full army camp of drags before I go to sleep but I wondered if there would be something better like half pekkas/drags or maybe healers or wizards or something. What do you guys think? Oh and I'm in the 1300 trophy range so these are not very hard bases at all.
Generally speaking, a more powerful army could get more loot than less poweful. When farming however, one must look at the net instead of the gross. Here's an army composition I use that is relatively cheap but can still get a good amount of loot.
15 Giants
40 Barbarians
40 Archers
20 Goblins
10 Wall Breakers
This makes a total of 195; fully upgraded army camps would allow for 25 goblins.
For farming I reccomend BAM (Barbs, Archer, Minions) a lot of people love it, its quick effective and cheap
(I always carry a few WBs just in case as well)

So i guess that you want to know what army you can train at Night!?
Not what you should farm when you are awake.. I do 9 dragons rest archers every Night :) got tons of elexir and dont want to use DE..
But Pekka, wizard, dragon army is not bad :)
I get what you mean. Full elixir storages and when I sleep at night means a powerful army.
Pekka and wizards is extremely powerful for ground. For air you do dragons and balloons and 22 archers and 4 minions (archers for a outside th or clear buildings distracting and 4 minions for air bomb).
BAM army, best farming army EVER.
If time and elixir is not a concern, i'd suggest GoWiPe.

Simply: barb, archer, wbs.
Barb: 90
Archer: 90
WBS: 10
At least that's what I use, it works great for me.
BAM is best farming army, I throw some wallbreakers in the mix.
