Hi all,
Just got my smoothie mixer! Very curious how many slots you guys have in total for smoothie production? Looking at how quick these things produce, I have a feeling I'm going to have to open up all my slots just like my coffee kiosk if I want to three star this machine fast!
I opened them all, I now regret it. Not much use for them after you master it, besides running it constantly for exp and selling berry smoothies for coin. Boats ask one per crate, townies don't often ask. I make for exp but it nearly all goes in rss or to visitors for coins I don't need.
Mine's at 5 slots right now, and likely to stay there unless I run out of other machines to upgrade.
I only have 4 slots open and that works well for me, for the reasons Tomville pointed out.
I have 9 slots on them, but I have 9 slots on all machines but smelters x 7, and net x 6 and lure x 6 maker.
I think mixed smoothies are a great way to burn down your excess of saws. :)
If you like doing production task (yogurt and green smoothie), having a lot of slots on machine would be good. However there is not much demand for smoothies on boat town or truck and they can take up too much barn space.
The math:
If run non-stop, it's mastered in 63 days. Like most machines. If you have 5 slots it can be kept running by logging on to HD every 4 hours. Of course it will stop at night unless you get up for HD, which I don't. You'll lose a few hours each day. Maybe up to 20% total for an extra ~12 days.
Now you just need to decide if opening the other 4 slots for 78 diamonds is worth it to you to have it mastered asap.
I'm level 108 and I have 4 slots open because there are plenty of Green Smoothies and Berry Smoothies to buy in the newspaper. Sometimes I buy so much that I must reduce my inventory to just ten of each.Quote:
