Hi! Does anyone know how the cool-down period works for the donation? It varies every time for me and other neighbors, but the request cool-down is always 8hrs.
How do we get the titles? Like, how many do we have to request or donate to get a change in title? Was there any information released on this?

There are two cool-downs.
One for requests, which I do believe is 8 hours as you stated.
The other is a 24 hour cool-down from your first donation; where you can donate up to 20 a day [which is kind of stupid considering that is only 2 x 10 crop requests]
The titles reset every 4-5 days; based on the timer in the birdhouse.
I don't really know what it works like this; the live counters for donating in Clash of Clans makes FAR more sense. [Doesn't have pointless titles attached either; at least when I stopped playing 6-7 months ago anyway]
As you can probably tell, I don't like the system we currently have in place; really needs a lot of tweaking in the next update.
Ahh! So that's why the cool-down varies for donation, since it counts from the time you first donated. Thanks, daz258! But I think I'd prefer it if the cool-down is in sync with the game daily cut-off/refresh, it would be easier to keep track and remember...
Yes, the donation limit do suck, lol, 2 crop donation and you're done!
I don't care about the title or the prestige, I care about the rewards, hahaha (but there isn't any)! And I think it's too much information to put it on the nh chat when you can see it on the nh trade window as well..
Hope they make improvements on this.. This would also be better if you can put up a request to strangers, like what we have with the boat help. :)
hmm... May be they should just put a donation limit based on category, let's say like 50 for crop, 15 for tools, 30 for production items.
Still, don't know how the rankings work...
