I'm a lower level TH9 but new to clan wars. I joined a 50 size clan but only their top 15 guys every participate in the war.
So far I'm just a spectator. Does that mean I have to wait until their war ends before joining another clan to war?

I'm eager to learn and want to be a member of a team that lets everyone attack as much as possible.

Nope, head over whenever you want to :)

Yep, joined up, and talked with Josey. But they need the spots back for War so will be back when its over.

So is that a "thing" hopping in and out of clans? Or do most people find a clan to stay with for the long haul?

A fair few people will hop around clans.

Some are lucky enough to find that awesome permanent clan though :p
