Attack vs timer

Hi, I'm currently TH6 and i've been using the giant/healer combo for quite a while now and it worked pretty well. It cuts through the defences like butter but there's a major problem. I always run out of time to farm the resources! I use 16 giants 2 healers 3 WB and 21 gobs. I usually send the gobs once the giants destroyed most of the defences but that gives em about 1 minute to get to the storages.

So please help me find a strategy that will both rock the defences but also give me enough time to get the precious gold.

Try using the bam strategy made of minions archers and barbs, its cheep and amazing at raiding, try dat

At TH6 you can upgrade your army camps further can't you?

I believe you have a 135 capacity army there, increase it to a 150 capacity and make those 15 new troops archers. Send them in later to help clean up faster.

Ahh.....he is TH6. You don't get Minions [Dark Barracks] until TH7.

No i can't do the BAM strategy... No dark troops yet! And yes all 3 are upgrading right now, in 3 days i'll have the new 15 troops. So archers or more goblins?

Use a few less giants and replace them with other troops (archers or gobs) 16 is probably overkill im guessing there are still a lot when the battle is over. Use only 12-14 giants so you can have more cleanup troops. Just my suggestion from experience

Less giants please. 8 is enough.

8 giants is good for a normal raid. but for giant-healer? no way. for giant healer you need at least 12-14 giants, otherwise its nothing. 16 is a good amount, actually , it's pretty well working. I used to do giant-healer, but I got bored of it, after a while although I normally 3-starred bases. and I still do. especially now, with an all dragon army! :D anyways, when I was TH6, I had 3 lvl-5 army camps, to give me 135 army camp space. I used 19 giants, 5 WB, 1 healer, 10 gobs. but that was when healers took up 20 housing spaces, so you can use 16 gobs. then I came to TH7, and when I had 200 army camp spaces, I did 22 giants, 2 healers, 4 barbs, 7 WB, 36 archers, 8 gobs. I think i'm off a bit but whatever. so, yeah.

Try cutting out healers altogether. Do 8 giants 12 wb, 30 goblins and an equal amount of barbs and archers. It can easily get 50% while also accessing gold storages.
