Tom does not actually get things from players road side stands, so his offerings have nothing to do with what is for sale. This is proven when we get new items and Tom can get them immediately. So Tom being stingy is SC, not players hoarding items.

Hired Tom this morning, needed pickaxes & saws. Asked for saws, highest offer 7, so changed request to pickaxes & got 9. Thanks for the tip! :-)

It's very frustrating, IT IS A PAID FOR SERVICE, and still can yield poor; frustrating results.

I rarely use Tom because of it.

It amuses me how this game seems to do so much to discourage Diamond purchases.

When I hire Tom, it's usually 5 days. However I just finished a one day and he was great. I got 9,9,7/9,7/9,9,8,9,8,9,9. Almost wish I had got up at night to send him!
I sure hope his memory is that good :)
