Stalking from folks who last helped

I'm trying to get stuff to nh folks. I post it and someone who helped me a bit ago comes in and ninja steals it, it's like they're camping at my store. How come I can't control whether I'm shown on that list like I do someone following me? I have no control over that tab.

From what i understand, they will drop off after two weeks, but that penalizes me two weeks of playing time not helping the folks I choose to play with. Either give me an option to not appear on that list, like diamonds confirmation, shorten the time wait to drop off, or let me manage who I like to play with on that tab like the other tabs. Or, do away with the tab which I don't advocate as a number of folks find that tab helpful for "payback" for helping you.

Please SC, let me manage who I interact with or socialize with.

Oh and I know removing the tab or shortening is on the never to do list, but then at least give me the option to manage it like the other tabs. I simply mentioned that as one of the options SC could take, without referencing its on the never yo do list.

I agree, Last Helpers tab needs to be revisited as a topic for discussion. There are simply too many people using the Last Helpers tab as a personal invitation to raid my shop. As a rule, if you do not have mostly green checks on your Order Board, I will likely not water your trees, and may not fill a crate for you. While I know most people use the tab for "good," a few folks with bad intentions have ruined helping for me.

Supercell, I ask for a "Last Helped" tab so I have an equal opportunity to raid, a shorter duration as a "Last Helper" or the ability to remain an anonymous helper (I will happily forgo the gift card).

I love helping love that Hay Day's ultimate goal is global collaboration. This goal resonates deeply with me, but will no longer collaborate and help strangers if it comes at a deep disadvantage for me.

i'm afraid there's no good way beyond what you have already read. It's a shame it's not been changed, as there has been a lot of negative feedback provided on this unwanted use of the feature.

I totally agree with this. I've pretty much stopped helping people outside my hood/friends because my shop ALWAYS seems to get raided for weeks after. I'm fine with keeping the tab as long as we have the ability to delete the farms we last helped like we can with the other tabs.

I have had alot of problems with this. We have a small hood, so at times I have to look outside for "helps" to do task. One player particularly kept raiding my stand. I try to keep it full for hood and good followers. They continued to follow me even though I kept deleting them from my list. Not sure why it asks you if you're sure you want to permanently delete player, when they can still follow. Removed them 15 times in 2 weeks. We need a block feature.

I also know this cause of irritation from first hand experience. However, I have also enjoyed the benefits of it when our NH is lasy, not in need of the merchandice in my shop, or somewhere else doing whatever they are doing :). Helps to move stuff fom the shop AND, what's most important, gets help for me! So, I can live with the ire. Additionally, after Derby appearing and other updates it is now relatively easy to get help by posting an add in the journal by selling something - nice.

Latest update introduced donations within the NH. That is the first version of a major new feature that will hopefully develop in the future. Currently I do not fancy it that much but at lest it is now there! Contrary to info on this thread I cannot find a way to kick out followers. The only thing I can do is follow a farm myself or not. That is ok.

We have used the message system within our NH to request things and announce that it is going to appear in the shop. One must be really lucky to jump in on that. So, if I put something without an add in the newspaper in my shop it is for take. NH, followers, friends and those good people who helped me when I asked for it are more than welcome to banter their coins with me for my goods. That's the idea. And I really do not mind who helps me when I ask for help - thank you, keep doing it :) I do the same when I can.

Clearly some people don't understand the problem.

Hopefully SC will remove this 'feature' - we don't need it & we definitely don't need the 'Raiders' it brings with it.

Still don't understand the 2 week duration. What is the point? If someone helped u recently, having it be one day is way more than enough time for them to stay on the last helpers tab to return the favor. I've asked this question so many times and no one can explain why the 2 weeks. The code is obviously already written. Just change the numeric value from 14 days to 1 day and it can drastically improve this game. A fair compromise.

But SC seem to ignore the issue time and again. Ludicrous.

There are many times I can fill a crate or water trees when I am shopping in the dd. but I don't. I don't because it creates so many problems for days/weeks. I am thankful ♥♥♥ and or Facebook for closing the door on the likes feature. It would seem a simple matter to fix the days on the last helpers tab. It is an outdated feature and has served its time. Do away with it ♥♥♥♥♥♥cell.

I really feel for the higher level players, this has literally never happened to me. But the lv 90+s in my NH complain about it all the time. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

A friend told me the other day that the Facebook farm ID still works, she could, if she wanted to, still get ID's. I can't check because I don't do Facebook.

Yes! It doesn't seem like it would be that difficult.

Place 1 wheat for 1 coin, have member buy. You'll know they r there and ready to get item you want to give them. Not a cure all but it cuts down on "problem children".

One wheat won't work as we aren't discussing trading specific items with a specific individual by arrangement, but rather the practice of leaving many nicer items in shop without ad with the intention neighbours, friends and followers would buy these, but having the items instead scooped up repeatedly by a stranger you happened to help previously. It's a tension in ideas about how public one's shop is or should be, rather than an inept trader issue.

Lol yeah unfortunately most of the time the ppl who raid don't post anything good, so I am offering another suggestion: "repo" ability ... the ability to take BACK the goods someone purchased, for the amount they purchased it, of course 😁

my stand has been attacked every 15 mins for hours at a time by the same.individual...that must b how thisperson.says " tk u stranger for helpg me.w my boat order" it.s happend too many times and.lasts too many days. i been.forced to just stop helpg strangers. this game still rocks!!!

Most of my rss is corn anyway which is probably why I don't get raided a lot, but something you can do is tell your neighbor which box an item going to be in, and then get them to repeatedly tap the box so it buys right away once you post it. No amount of time available for raiders to come and snatch it

Jep. This is why I previously commented on the new NH trading/donation feature finally appearing :). There is a need for it and this should be developed to a kiosk where we could put things for NH people to buy. Just donating things is not nice in the long run - not in real life or in the game. Selling them in bargain prices is not a problem, however ;), and if there wuold be a limit how many items one can have posted in the kiosk then a person posting overpriced and/or not needed items would be blocked pretty fast. After some time you would get the uncollected items back to your barn or you could be able to pick them back if there is no need for them.

It seems we are having all the same problem. So, I was just wondering, why don't developers provide a dedicated selling box like the boats'? One box only for neighbors, where we can put the items on sale that can be taken only by guild's members. It would be so simple.

My hood recently had a very dramatic split. People left to start a new hood - but as we had all been helping each other during the derby, when they left they were able to raid our NH sales/specific trading. They knew what they were doing - I'm not talking about opportunistic buying. I'm talking straight up malicious camping out waiting to intercept our NH exchanges (and plant watering). The donation feature is a step in the right direction, but no where near sufficient. Every 8 hours doesn't help me do truck/boat/town tasks. And there is nothing we can do about it? There should be a way to block/ban players that aren't following you. Like a privacy setting - "appear to global market" "appear to friends only" "appear to NH only"... It would be so much easier. (Obviously, the reverse would be true. If you don't appear to the public market you can't participate in the public market. Maybe the setting could only apply to helps, maybe the whole kit and caboodle. I don't know.)

I had asked this to the in-game support. It's because the road side shop is not designed for neighborhoods only. It's main purpose is to serve the whole community. HayDay is not based on neighborhoods. Some people are not in neighborhoods, or are only one in the neighborhood. Some people don't have Facebook or any of those social media. I got rid of my Facebook, because it is subject to extensive background checks for some jobs, that I happen to be trying for. Any inappropriate posts or pictures can be a sign of not getting the job. And these posts and pictures does not have to be your own. In addition, what I think might be OK, might not be OK with the investigators. So, I got rid of Facebook and Twitter.

I'd bet I help 5 to 6 times as many people randomly through the DD than I do through my "friends" list. I always have from day one of playing this game. I can honestly say I have had less problems with random strangers raiding me than I have from people I have added to my GC through mutual friend requests.

For the most part people who flag for help in the DD do so frequently. That means you drop off their last helpers tab very quickly. I know this because I play my feeder farm this way for boats for derby tasks.

And witout being ugly, how great do you think the products are you have in your shops? You really truly think that someone is going to stop flagging because of what y'all have in your shops? Seriously?

And to throw something else out there, y'all for sure buy from the DD including from ads with flags. Maybe they consider it rude you clearly raided their shop seeing as you didn't help them...

And fwiw, I'll pre-empt complaints about the boat leader board too. I have several followers/followed now who I visited through the leader board. Several have turned out to be excellent neighbors. But that's maybe because my philosophy always was to go visit a random farm and help them, not raid their shop of goodies. Ditto during events from last contributors. I play the game to help. Not to only help a select few while availing myself of their shops witout helping which truthfully seems be much of y'all's style if you truly would look at your playing....

Maybe it's all Karma...

I'm going to give u a quick example of windsong and how she absolutely hates being raided by some random stranger in the DD, robin.

U know she sells lots of premiums in her shop regularly, right? Imagine her shop loaded with premiums every 4 hrs, premiums placed in her shop to thank her friends for helping her boat, like u. But before u guys have a chance to come buy some of her stuff, this random stranger she helped in the DD cleans her out...the entire shop! Every single time for days! How is this even cool? She got fed up and changed her selling style. For what? Because there is no control whatsoever...she stopped helping in the DD to avoid this unwanted nuisance that bothers her and apparently a lot of other players.

Players who don't sell, sell nothing but wheat and junk probably don't understand why some peeps are bothered by this raiding issue. Believe what u want, it's an issue...a huge one at that.

One bad experience shouldn't cause you to tar everyone with the same brush. Plus the odds are they liked her farm on FB and will always find their way back.

But like I said. How is your shopping any different to the objectionable raider? You buy a lot in the DD by your admission and your video of how fast you shop. Someone has placed an ad and flagged something. The item was or may have been intended as a reward for a helper.

There are always two sides to every story. Or maybe some of these people returning are buying to say thank you. I buy stuff I don't need to acknowledge someone helping me. I guess I should refrain from doing so.

Yea, I shop like a maniac in the DD. All the products I find are there for the taking, I can buy as much as I want. Bar none. Advertising ur shop for the entire HD nation isn't exactly being raided. The seller knows their shop will be cleaned out, if it's not by me, it's going to be someone else. I'm under no obligation to help anyone in the DD if I don't feel like it. Why should I bring unwanted "guests" to my house when they are not welcomed?

Return to say thanks? Go for it. Do it once or twice but all the time, continuously? Thanks but no thanks.

It's not a dig on u...someone rarely selling much or sell nothing but junk will never understand the situation no matter how I try to explain it. Bottom line, don't have a problem with it? Farm on. Many of us do have a problem with it...for years.

I agree that there needs to be away to stop stalking. While I have not noticed it i can see there could be a problem. I have read other posts of someone being stalked in real life an that continuing on the game. I doesn't matter what game you play the or doc or by there needs to be a way to block a person. It doesn't even matter the reason. It should be easy to do and permanent should be just that. You block them and it you are blocked from them.

I had stopped helping everyone because of this. I only recently have started helping again, but only low levels. As I keep my store filled for friends, followers & nh with blankets/pillows/jelly beans etc (what I consider premium items) the lower levels cannot take them. It has allowed me to return to the fun of helping people without them coming back to "thank?" me. lol

Two things to consider:

1. If you remove the last helpers tab, you won't be able to see all who watered and helped you. The avatars don't always show. If you didn't know this, you simply don't check your last helpers tab very often. Multiple people most definitely can and do water. And then people would be complaining that some people help them.

2. If you only rely on your limited resources of GC friends, you limit the pool of people you receive help from. Not all of us who use that tab are "raiders". Personally those who have helped me and are in there receive preference. GC friend, FB friend or random kind stranger. The help needed tab blanks out often, at those times I always check the last helpers quickly to make sure nobody needs help. I am pretty sure I'm not alone in this. If you have a pool of GC friends who always play when you do, and they respond quickly fine. But if those GC friends are in different time zones, then without using the games full resources (DD flags, last helpers, etc) then you are limiting your own ability to be helped. Which often results in discontent with those who are on ones GC list.

Im a bit confused. I know there is a tab of people who helped me on my farm, but where is the tab for people I've helped?

There isn't one! That's why it's such a problem.

You can appear on someone's last helper tab for up to two weeks. They can visit your farm during that time, but you can't go to theirs. You have no way of removing yourself from their last helper tab.

I would be happy with just having the option to turn the last helper tab on or off. That seems to be a way that would allow everyone to play the way they choose.
