1600+ is a gold mine for de. But if you can push to 1700+ there is even more big hauls available. I got my Bk in two days without much trouble.
Yep, a while ago now I took my TH7 up to around 1800, then back down while specifically farming DE - got some hauls in the thousands from TH8 and TH9 who were not protecting it especially well (I think it was before TH10 was released, or maybe just after). Just don't expect to make much gold out of it, you'll be using a lot of spells to maximise the amount of DE you can extract, and hitting Next a lot.
It's a fun journey, to get up that high, too - I got to see some great bases you don't see much farming in silver, and I got my king up to level 4 before I moved to TH8 (I was aiming to max him out, but didn't quite get there as I had to also get lots of gold for my final upgrades to air defenses, tessla etc).
Wow thanks for all the replies, I'll let ya know how it goes for me, my defenses are almost all maxed, 2 AT and 3 cannons and one more Tesla to do another level and I'm all done. I'd really like to have the BK though. Appreciate all the help! I have enjoyed gold and lix farming, it's been very easy at TH 7.
