I'm pretty sure you can add any amount of money to someone's iTunes account.

50 gems? 50c worth? These are pretty small transactions. Why give someone 50 gems?

Why not is the real question. what if i want to give my clanmates a gift for Christmas

I support this. I would like to have clan competitions with a small gem gift, but cannot because gift cards won't work in other countries from me. I've tried it.

My idea was similar to this. It eliminates the "Multiple accounts" issue.

Now I know resources cannot be donated for the obvious reasons, but leaders should be able to send their members gem boxes as gifts. Whether it be for a holiday, winning a certain number of wars or just because. This is no less fair than buying gems yourself, so leaders and even cos should be able to buy maybe a gem box with 50 gems for someone in their clan for $1 (or equivalent of their currency) and place it on that players village. When the player removes it, it says you received 50 gems from "XXXXXX".

My takes advantage of something already in place in the game. supercell can already send gems to accounts via the inbox so why not have bought gems go there

I am from USA and tried giving an Android user a Google Play gift card for gems and it didn't work because because he lives in India.
