Buy gems for clanmates.....

Buying gems for another doesn't sound a threat at all to SC's business model.

I guess that you don't want to give your credit card details to your friends, but I believe that you can just as easily give them iTunes vouchers, which they can use to buy gems. Or don't you trust them to use your iTunes money to buy gems, they might buy candy instead?

Surely SC could work with you to give gems to a specified player ID, instead of your own, when you purchase them? Or would this violate some tax evasion law if used in large amounts? I doubt it, I don't think you can ever get money out of the game.

That's why I said to get the money to pay for gems. No but, your clanmates should really get money for the game or acknowledge that there are "in-game purchases".

Sending it as a gift card through their App Store would remedy this, Player A purchases a virtual gift card from the AppStore itself, but sends it as a gift to anyone with an account linked to the clash account, it wouldn't be direct gems, if not currency for the player to buy it themselves, at least I think that's how it would work, I never sent a virtual gift card to someone like that, but was given the option to not too long ago, idk about android users, I think it would apply to google store to google store. I however think that this would lead to possible hacking and problems in the systems not for clash if not for the App Store in general so I'm more on the negative than the positive side of this idea, although it would be a nice feature.

I think it would be better for it to be through supercell instead of app store because i might not want to use an entire gem pack on one person. Having my idea would be better because what if i only want to give 10 gems to each member 50 to elders or 100 to co leaders. Your way would have me spend so much more on individual gems packs when i might just be trying to give out small tokens of thanks

Also ive been reading about people who've given out their google play name(not the password just the name) and had their account hacked also what if they have apple i wouldn't be able to send a gift then.

Buy iTunes vouchers and email them to your friends. There would be no advantage to storing exchangeable currency like this with the game.
