Buy gems for clanmates.....

How about when you buy gems you have the option of giving some to clanmates. The amount each person gets is up to you....new person could get 0 or 5 or however many. Same goes to any member of your clan. When someone buys gems for you you'll receive a message in inbox asking to accept or reject gems. If you reject gems then they go back to the buyer. When you buy gems the option to give some to clanmates will appear right after and asks how many you want to give each person wether it is 1 ,2 or 100

Supercell has regularly shot-down any system that would allow players to transfer resources to one another. If you want to buy gems for a clanmate, consider buying them a gift card.

They have shot down transfer of gems and resources because people would just transfer resources to protect them from raids and transfer of gems was shot down because people would create a bunch of new accounts just to get gems for their main account. THIS IDEA IS NOT A TRANSFER of gems .i would use gift cards but that would either involve giving out personal information or by giving out gift card number in clan chat which may be intercepted.

Transferring 'purchased' gems doesn't seem like a bad idea. I can understand why they may wish to prevent the transfer of gems accumulated by removing trees / fulfilling achievements etc, as this could easily be abused my having multiple accounts; however if it was restricted purely to purchased gems, then surely that removes any possible abuse?

Any comments from supercell?

If you want to give your clan mates gems chance are, they are bad at spend gems or, you get bribed into sending them gems.

This is not a good idea. Even if they are "purchased" gems, how can supercell distinctly separate them!? Lets say someone purchases gems, and it mixes with the normal gems. Then, even if supercell COULD tell which ones are which, think of them spending half of the gems? Well, which gems are you spending? The purchased ones or the normal ones? And separating them will be complicated, and nothing supercell would want to be any part of.

Not complicated if you only allow gems to be distributed immediately after buying. Have it be part of the buying process

This process is a bad idea. If they are poor they should get money to get their own gems.

Cant get gems if you're poor....is it really that bad to be able to buy gems for clanmates through supercell
