842(!) Spaces in my Barn

I just simultaneously upgraded my barn, silo and two buildings in town. This has never happened before and I have certainly never had this much space to play with. It's like going from a studio apartment to a mansion. :D I know it won't last. Eventually clutter happens. Empty space just begs to be filled, no? (Nature abhors a vacuum. That's my story and, yes, I'm sticking with it)

Anyway, I wanted to share with the only people in the world who would understand my joy - fellow Hay Day devotees.

I understand your joy... And in my experience, no matter how large the room is in the barn, it's filled up "I don't know how" usually under one hour ;)

I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. Let's just say, I hope your Barn Bliss lasts longer than mine did.

I upgraded my barn and silo when the new crops came out. I was excited to have hundreds of spaces for about 2 minutes and then I went into panic mode. Since I am a stacker, I realized that I had to clear a few machines to make the new products on existing machines. For example, to access the new salsa I had to clear my sauce maker. I had so much olive oil, mayo, tomato sauce and lemon curd I had to give it away to one of my hoodies. Then, because I didn't want to empty all machines, I had to fill the rest of the empty spaces with milk, eggs, wool and bacon so I could continue to stack. I'm always happy when I expand but empty spaces hamper my ability to make more.

I emptied my barn by upgrading, opening (my last) land and upgrading my Bed & Breakfast within 30 minutes or so. It lasted for less than a day. lol

With the last barn upgrade I have over 100 free spaces and it really feels like I'm queen of my empty castle ;) With 800 free spaces you might hear the echoes

Wow, congrats! My barn is always almost full. I have to constantly sell everything litlte to litlte just to get 10 free spaces each time, including spare SEMS/BEMs. That's great to upgrade silo and barn at the same time, I've done it several times but I got only around 200 empty spaces. You were so lucky to upgraded 4 storage buildings at once.

Farmerlzumi - yes the lack of stacking capability is a bit of an issue, especially for the animal feed. I'm working my way around it though.

It's so nice to actually be able to buy nice things from the Daily Dirt and it is fun to stretch and not touch the walls. Echoes? Yes. Luxury? Indeed! :)

Lol SmallChange. I'm also curious - is your name a comment on the size of a change, or is it the colloquial, as in, "Do you have any small change?"

Congrats Boston Girl������������������. I am slowly getting to a barn upgrade and constantly selling stuff to make room. The hardest last third to go. I did upgrade my silo when we got the new crops but it is still constantly full now which never used to happen��
