Why is it so difficult to get a tractor now?

I had taken about 8-10 months off the game and have been back for about a year and a half. While I was gone they introduced the tractor and it seemed that everyone and their uncle has them. I rarely see a farm past a certain level without one. For a year and a half I've been saving my thank you gift cards and every time they have the tractor available for 35 cards, I try for it. In all those tries I still haven't been able to get a tractor! The only thing I can think of is that they've lowered the odds of getting one. I realize that some rich farmers may have bought them for 1.5 million but in my group of friends, they've all gotten them through thank you cards.
The main reason I am hoping for one is because my late brother used to have an old tractor sitting out in his field surrounded by flowers just like the tractor in the game and it would remind me of him every time I saw it :heart:

It took me several years and many, many tries to get my tractor. I don't think The chance of winning one has changed. There is a thread in off topic about this😁

I have a theory (although no concrete data to back it up) that if you spin the wof and win junk like an egg or wheat or red berry cake, then your chances of getting a "nice" prize in your gift pack is slim to none. I have 7 tractors. I bought 4 and won 3. That thread that gymgirl referred you to is entertaining. We would all check in every few days to see who had won what. Kind of miss those days around this forum. But that's another story somewhere around here.

I believe they removed the tractor windmill and shrubberies from the gift cards and replaced them with flowers and musical instruments. so the old tractor is now the new accordion. on the plus side you can gamble with coins and guarantee a win in the deco store. coins for tractor diamonds for windmill.

Never thought gift cards would work, the problem is whether it go with your farm decoration. You needn't have bought one.

I got sick of waiting, saved up the coins & bought mine.
