I feel kinda bad, because I was laughing at the English NH Request titles, which could be seen as a little unflattering but aren't as harsh as actual curses. :eek:
Google Translate has failed SC. Hopefully, next time they'll buy Rosetta Stone or at least consult some native speakers of these languages.
I'm not easily offended, but I looked up 'fraco' and I think I would be very disappointed and probably offended. According to the website I saw, it means 'weak' and was associated with the word 'flaccid'. While I don't think this was intentional (at least I hope it wasn't), it's a pretty bad blunder. If you're helping your hoodies when you can, you're being a good neighbor. Plain and simple. You're not weak or mediocre.
I hope SC sees this and changes the titles. Several of them are a bit rude and not very humorous. There are other disappointed farmers out there and I'm actually thankful that our titles aren't showing. I would have a hard time ignoring these new titles and it would probably only encourage me to donate/request less or do just enough to get to a decent title rather than doing everything I can to help my neighbors.
Sorry to hear that, as LetTheMusicPlay said we are annoyed with the English ones; but the other translations sound even worse. :facepalm:
No idea what SuperCell were thinking when introducing this, why you would make something to insult your loyal player base makes no sense whatsoever to me.
The titles are appalling; they are simply not required.
Remove the titles SuperCell. Or at the very least let leaders opt to turn them off [which I suspect most would]
Yeah, Fraco is pretty bad. They actually would have been better off if they had truly run the English terms through translate.google.com.
Or like I suggested elsewhere...just display the darn numbers: "X requested/Y donated".
All languages are translated by an outsourced company, not Google translate. I am truly sorry if someone got hurt by this mistake. We will fix it at some point!

Ok. Good enough for now. But please choose something a bit more appropriate. Numbers in small print for instance. It does make a distraction in an already confusing new chat format. Just saying. We aren't all 25 years old with great eyesight........
