Sometimes not swearing on here is such a challenge!
Anyone using the 'stats' from this to kick people out of an NH needs to give their head a wobble. Honestly. I despair.
Mind you, anyone asking for blankets, feathers, lobster etc needs to be made to watch Tom for an hour. That'll learn 'em!
Nick: Why is there a restriction on how many items I can donate?
I have twice now been caught in a situation where I could donate; but this restriction prevents me doing so.
Why are we been restricted in how much we can help our fellow hoodies?
If you want restrictions on requests so be it; but I cannot understand restricting the other side.
Please explain?
My hood may not be typical, but we hit this from the other side. We all ask for barn items mostly, and most of us manage 2 requests a day, round sleep, work, rest of life. And we can each donate 20 in a day... So we're all pouncing on requests immediately, all hoping to donate more for the novelty and the achievement, but no requests available there on the board for doing that.Quote:

I like it, I like, I like it! Nice to not have to do the monotonous, "come on over" or "I can give you two" dialogue. Nice to not have to do the neighbor 'hop' to collect the amount of items one needs. Nice not to have to worry about my donated items being snatched by a stranger. Kinks? Sure, but hopefully they will be ironed out in the near future. Now, about the whole birthday thing...I'll bite my tongue.
I think it's kind of useless, but I will make requests and donations so that myself and my hoodies can earn the achievement. Otherwise, I haven't much use for it.
Good point, poster who pointed out that if it was unlimited, the DD would empty out.
I mostly don't like the titles being in chat. They are distracting and cluttersome.
Some things are ridiculously long wait times. The new jams. Marmalade in particular. Added to the wait time for oranges. It's a week before you have enough to fill a boat order for one type of jam. Goats milk takes an abysmally long time. Every 8 hours asking for ten wheat or rice is a long time. We only use the new request feature to get the achievement in our nh. Tea leaves. How long do they take to grow? 6 1/2 - 7 hours? There went my well planned and well loved growing schedule at my farm. Oh well. Off to stare at the goats. Maybe they will be ready sooner.
