Seriously Nick?

A 'special birthday event' No. A regular event. Even the Global Goal was messed around with so no one knew whether they were coming or going, sapping all the fun out of it. You really aren't listening to how bored witless everyone is with the same events week in, week out. Changing the Global Goal prize really doesn't make it a 'special birthday event'. You didn't even bother to do deco personal goal prizes, just the 'same old'. Surely your birthday should be more exciting than Halloween, not less?

Can you not see that people are less than impressed with this? You 'celebrate' your PLAYERS making this game viable for another year by making them buy their own rewards.

What about the players who are not able to buy diamonds? Adults who can't afford to and children who aren't allowed to? Are they not important to SC? Sure, they don't pay to play, but without all those players the game wouldn't exist.

There are plenty of other people who feel the same, but won't say so on the forum.

Actually, before this offer came out (and you'll probably not believe me now that it is offered), but I had a small feeling you were right. In fact, I've been checking the diamond section, from time to time, to see if the decos were going to be offered there.

Yes, and who would have thought that HayDay actually wanted MONEY for their birthday!!! (Ha ha ha).

It's obvious. Business first.

I have bought many diamonds, but i won't buy 1 anymore... All the people who can JUST afford a phone and whose only nice thing to do is playing hay day for half an hour and all the children... This will deserve a special monumental prize for SC!

I'd like to introduce a new award... a pile of ..... to be exposed somewhere in Finland... :D

Yes Nick , we did have a special Birthday event last year & this years prizes looks great and I thank SC for these lovely gifts.

But what I would like to ask you is .... Why did you decided to "gift " the party deco with a diamond purchase , rather than just putting them in our shop for us to buy with our diamonds ( if we chose to ) ?

I feel doing this with birthday decorations was a bit tacky, but nevertheless, Nick is right. There's still a birthday event and a birthday deco that comes with it. The decos in the diamond packages are extra. Instead of seeing it as "you must pay to get the decos", look at it as "if you buy diamonds, you get a cute little bonus with them!" They are a business, they are allowed to try to promote spending money on their product. But yeah, this would have gone over better if it wasn't marketed as a birthday present or something and if there was a bit more to the global event.

At least they're just decorations. You don't need them to progress in the game, they don't give you anything, they just make your farm look a bit different/better. Imagine if they offered a special milk producing tree or something that way and only that way, now THAT would be terrible!

They did do this, they charged diamonds for crops... yes they eventually had to say it was a glitch and do something about it but I believe only because they did not expect the absolute outrage at that move. That was downright low. this takes the cake.

I have spent plenty money on diamonds for this game, way more than I should to play a mere game, I want to feel valued as a paying customer, with every upgrade, special event and supposed offer I feel less so.
