Hahaha that would be fun... been a very long time since I have seen that classic Hay Day humour that attracted me to the game in the first place.

Damage control at its finest huh, Nick?
I don't see how anyone can defend SC at this point. Been playing app games since the original iPhone and this is the FIRST game I've played that charges money for birthday content. Wow. Seriously? Way to squeeze that udder dry!
Instead of opening the game and getting something free to celebrate HD and its long standing success...go to the store and buy it. What a slap in the face. SMH
Nice move, SC. Way to celebrate ur birthday with all ur loyal players. Good luck trying to repair that image. :smirk:
Here's what's hanging in my beach shack. It's the only piñata that will appear at Dibley Fields.

since i buy diamonds in moderation i did get the balloon and pinata, but the bounce castle is over my budget. I am thinking if it were a little cheaper I, and probably a lot more farmers, would not have the sticker shock and would purchase the diamonds. quantity of sale would have made up for it for SC.
but I love my balloon and pinata, most adorable! :-)
Just noticed. In the news' picture and in the package offered show a chicken in the bouncy castle. But when I checked Greg's farm I do not see any animation with chicken bouncing in the castle. Not even ANY animation. Yet the balloons are swaying and the chocolate fountain is dripping chocolate with candle lit moving. I even double checked with the top player's farm who bought the birthday decors. Nada. Nothing. Not even flags moving...
If it's true no animation... (or I'm just not patience to wait long enough), I feel sorry for any player who bought the bouncy castle with hope to see cute animation of chicken bouncing in it. For $39.99...
Exactly. You said exactly what I was going to say, except with more grace and clarity. Well done.
We can talk about the sharks here- http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...236-Shark-Week ;)
I normally buy diamonds twice a week or so. No more. I've decided to stop the derby altogether, as I usually spend diamonds for Tom and to speed up boats (sometimes the only 320 tasks available). I've only been playing this game for 6 months or so, and I love it, but the events of the last couple of weeks have left a very bad taste in my mouth. I'm truly disappointed that the decos aren't available for everyone or at the very least there was a small discount on the special packages. This just seems like a blatant F U to the HD community, children in particular.
I used to work for an online crafting community in the Ecom department. The greed and disregard for the people who purchased items and classes from them was just disgusting. I can only imagine the conversations going on at SC. I'm sure they are similar to the conversations I heard. When it comes down to it, it's all about money and getting the board members paid. That is all that matters. It's really sad and disappointing.
Taking it out of context, it sounds like "the easy way out", but if you read through my posts here in this thread, other threads and even much older threads the fact is that you can't please them all. A good example was/is our Edit Mode update. :) Some hated it, some loved it.. it's human nature. Some hate things, some don't mind, some love it. Same with changes.. but that's a topic for another day.
It may come off as expensive to some, not to others. Again, there are different kind of players and for some it is way too expensive (not sure which one you refer to, or all together?) and for some it isn't. Thus we also have differently priced diamond packages. Something for everyone and their likings.
I am replying to each and every repeating question/comment. :) Thus it may seem as I would keep repeating myself, obviously.
I fully agree that though the latest update was pretty sweet with loads of content + a feature players have been asking for for years, it didn't come without hiccups. I think I stated somewhere that the game is very complex & big, so even adding smaller things can have affect parts of the game we are not aware of. We test as much as we can before launching, but smaller issues can slip through. However, that's another topic for another day, let's not get OT.
I see your point (tacky timing) and that's something I am sure our internal support peeps will bring up.
On the contrary, I have no interest in politics and never had. :D I actually don't really follow up on politics since it's not my thing. When/if I need to, obviously I catch the latest news, but I don't follow politics.
We can not control who is playing our game, and we have an official Parent's Guide for families where younger ones play our games: http://supercell.com/en/parents/ We merely provide possibilities in the game, and leave it up to the players to choose what to do.
Can't please them all I guess, but I am trying to keep up with thread. :) Everyday people are quitting games, whatever their reasons are, and new ones start.
Bon Appétit! :)
Simply replying to our vocal and die-hard players, that's all. :)
Hmmm.. Don't want to sound like a broken record, but we gave as much "free" this year as last year.
Cheers,
Nick
The chicken makes an appearance if you own it and tap on it. :)
I am happy to hear that! :) I still have to get the balloons and then possibly the castle.. I only have the Piñata for now (and the chocolate fountain).
Cheers,
Nick
