I will take truck orders, so i might get a prize, but not fanatic as with other events.
1. Board keeps asking for items i can't make till tomorrow
2. Obvious something went wrong as everyone on facebook isn't happy with event.
Underlining that i AM happy with the update i think SC should have been more careful. First signal came at 11.15 utc, still no reactions.
I would suggest best thing to do is stopping the event and starting a new event. Maybe fishing. THis doesn't work. I'm doubting if global goal (5 diamonds) will be reached.
no wait, a Facebook post did state the chocolate fountain as a prize, so I think it has to be a mistake.
You must be very creative to solve this. And it's taking longer and longer.....
I'm concentrating on hoarding tea and onions for tomorrow. Not for trucks anymore. I had 3 golden vouchers and 3 panels. Other people had other items. How will they repair this... I can't think of something else but start again.
Let's go hoarding wheat and put it in a box for goals. This is gonna be a puzzle else.

I'm thinking the same thing too PinkPanther. I think Supercell staff already pre-set the new event release and gone for the holiday and do not realize the event has gone wrong. Remember guys... two years ago when the winter event and new year event had gone wrong? They could not do anything cos it was winter break and nobody could come to work to fix it.Quote:

The game told us to reach the global goal together and we'll be rewarded with an "exclusive birthday decoration" so I'm still trucking because Team Hay Day (THD) has 2 days to salvage event by changing 5 diamonds to something aMOOzing.
Since it was Midsummer's Eve just a few hours ago, THD must've cut loose and partied hard throughout the night. But fortunately for us, they have 48 hours to recover from their hangovers and will be alert on Monday morning to mitigate the current global event.
Until then, I'm trucking on while THD is sleeping and recovering from their partying. Zum Wohl! :)

i read a post somewhere (can't remember what thread is was now tho) that SmallChange had asked Nick about the bday event and the probs with the filters not taking out the new products. just so we didn't have any probs with products we can't produce yet in the event. Nick responded that the new products would not interfere with the event at all leading me to think that the event either had to be fishing or a product drop. i'm guessing that this whole truck event is a mistake from last year, like many have said already.

Now coming to your question, you may know the last event was a global event for which the players got 5 diamonds. The page which is showing 'Mayor Holding 5 diamonds' is from the previous event. Looks like Mayor doesn't want to leave those sparkling diamonds:) Jokes apart, let me forward your report to the team, so that they can investigate and make sure that everything is ok in the game.

The wheating event is a drag and drop event. They couldn't accomplish that 2 years ago so they stopped it. I want it back and lots of others want it back. It is proven now that normal events can be screwed up by SC too, so why not go back to the wheating event i supposed.
Formerly wheating events where blouses or soup or whatever thing people on lower levels could make too.
Wheat is something that everyone higher than level 0 can do. And SC had enormous difficulty in past putting the drag and drop events and the amounts on which to get prizes, even a child could tell that wouldn't be possible to cath. To have a Christmas event where at Christmas fewest people are online putting max. amounts....
pfffffft steam coming out of ears again :D
While on the subject of event prizes/rewards, is it not about time SC up the "5 Diamonds" prize to something more ... minimum 10 diamonds, considering those ditches and sandy paths cost 8 diamonds for one little block??
If they going to make it all about money and sell anything worth having only for diamonds then event prizes should be reconsidered as well.. it has been stuck at 5 diamonds for years.
Nick posted in response to questions in his maintenance thread for last night in the Announcement forum that the only change was to correct the global event prize to show the chocolate fountain. Apparently the balloons, piņata, and bouncy house were never intended to be interim prizes for the birthday event.
