It may sound like a stupid question, but can someone please tell me how other people that AREN'T my friends buy my stuff from my stand? Not only would I like to know how they know me, but how do I actually befriend them if they are not a friend in my Game Center?
If you have not put an item in your shop as an ad, the only ones who have access to your farm are friends, followers and those you follow. If by some chance you're on the global boat leader boards, that's another way for someone to find you.
or if you've helped someone they can find you under their 'last helpers' tab.
I would like to know this as well. As soon as I put feed in my road side stall, it is gone even before I have finished, these people aren't my friends and it doesn't have time to go in the newspaper, Im not complaining but it seens as if they are stalking me almost lol
If you click on your farm's name on the global boat leaderboard, you can see two farms that are on top of you and two below you on the board. So in a way everyone is on the global leaderboard and visible to some people that way. I check the farms close to me every once in a while, it's a great way to find trees to revive and crates to fill. The list changes pretty often, whenever one of the five farmers' boat score changes, so this is not a way for stalkers though. :-)Quote:

I don't have any followers. When I put stuff on sale there is a green check. What does this mean? When I uncheck it, there is a countdown, when I don't check it, I see a little newspaper next to my sale. What is the difference? Thank you for replying by the way! :)
The green tick explains it all :).
When you put something for sale, you can advertise it on the newspaper (when the green tick is on) so strangers can have access to your farm and buy stuff. Every 30 minutes you get a free ad, the countdown is time left till your next free ad. The item that appears in the newspaper get a little newspaper on it. When this particular item bought, the ad is automatically pulled out the newspaper.
There are millions of players out there, all around the world with various time zone. Your ads will be seen by at least hundreds of them at the same time, some will click on the ad to go to your farm but not everyone will buy.
If you don't want to advertise, uncheck the green tick (tap on it).
On your farm, next to the mailbox is the newspaper box. Click on it, turn the pages and you can see other ads. You don't need to be their friend and unless you help them, they cannot get back to your farm.

i dont know why you would be complain about that but i wish i had stranger keep coming to my shop to buy my stuff when i wheating its suck after 5 mins of doing a adverting people stop coming so i have to wait another 25 mins for people to buy the wheat even try to put up bacon and eggs to adverting and people buy them right away..

As you are at level 19, you might need to save coins from now for upcoming machine and to fix the dock and boat.
