Ideas for a New Dark Spell! The Direct Spell!
Dear Supercell Team,
I would like to express my ideas for a new Dark Spell! But first, let me introduce myself. My gaming name is MJ21705. I greatly appreciate all the games you have made. I play all 4 of them. Clash of Clans and Clash Royale are my favorite games among the group. In Hay Day, I am currently level 31. In Boom Beach, I am currently level 18 at Headquarters level 7. In Clash of Clans, I am currently level 75 as a Town Hall 8 in the clan “Poptarts”. In Clash Royale, I am currently level 8 in Arena 6 in the clan “King’s Royale I”. I will include the clan tags at the bottom. Now, I will talk about the Direct Spell.
The Direct Spell will be available at Town Hall 9 and will be available when you upgrade your Dark Spell Factory to level 5. It will be the fifth spell after the Skeleton Spell. The spell will affect both air and ground units. It will allow you to draw a path on your screen for troops within the spell’s 5-tile radius to follow. The troops will destroy structures and walls along the pathway. The spell is great for stopping your troops from continually attacking buildings outside the village’s walls. Although, if you lead your troops toward the player’s Town Hall or Loot Storages, your troops will end up going around them and totally avoiding attacking them until the spell’s duration is over (as soon as the troops make it to the end of the path). Next, I will discuss some offensive strategies that include this spell.
Some attacking strategies you can use that include the Direct Spell is that if you are raiding with a P.E.K.K.A. strategy, and your P.E.K.K.A.s are attacking buildings outside of the village’s walls, you can use the Direct Spell to make your P.E.K.K.A.s move toward the core of the base. Also, if are raiding with a Valkyrie strategy, and when you deploy your Valkyries, they attack structures along the outside of the walls and you want them to attack buildings inside of the base’s walls, you can use your Direct Spell to guide your Valkyries toward the inside of the base. Another example is that say you are raiding with a Dragon strategy, and you want your Dragons to destroy the air defenses that are killing them, but they continue to ignore them. You can use your Direct Spell to force your Dragons to destroy them. Another example is if you are at the end of a raid, you have to deal with Builder’s Huts at the corners of the base and you don’t have enough time because you don't have enough time, instead of taking the 2 star, you can use the Direct Spell to make your troops split up and take a lot less time in order to get the 3 star. You can also use the Direct Spell to direct you troops attention toward a specified target. For example, say both of the opponent’s X-bows are taking out your Witchs' skeletons and making her highly vulnerable. You can use the Direct Spell to direct your troop’s attention toward the opponent’s X-bows and destroy them.
Some defensive strategies people can use to protect their base is by not placing too many important structures close to each other. This can also help protect your base from many other attack strategies as well. For example, if you bunch up your heroes’ altars in a bundle. Your opponent can use the Direct Spell to take them out. Also, say you put both of your Inferno Towers right next to each other. Your opponent can easily destroy both of them if they use the Direct Spell to turn their troops’ attention toward the Inferno Towers and take them out. Another strategy is that you could put your very important structures in the center of your base so that your opponent can’t get to them as easily because of the spell’s limited pathway. For example, if you put your both of your X-bows next to your Town Hall, your opponent will have a harder time reaching your X-bows because the Direct Spell cannot reach your X-bows while the X-bows’ long range allows them to keep on destroying troops. The last strategy is to make your base more spread out. Leave spaces in between your structures inside your walls and random spaces, just not too big so your opponent cannot deploy troops there. Because of the Direct Spell’s short path. Now, I will talk about the Direct Spell and level 5 Dark Spell Factory’s statistics and upgrades.
To upgrade the Dark Spell Factory to level 5, it will cost 5,500,000 elixir and will take 12 days to upgrade. The upgrade will reward 1,018 experience. The level 5 Dark Spell Factory will continue to have a spell storage capacity of 1. It will have 840 hitpoints. It will continue to cost 5 gems to boost brewing speed by 4x for 1 hour. It will also continue to have a brewing capacity of 8. The spell will have 3 levels. A Direct Spell will take 5 minutes to train like all the other dark spells. A level 1 Direct Spell will allow you to draw a 5-tile path for your troops to follow. It will cost 150 dark elixir to train and will cost 75,000 dark elixir to upgrade to level 2 which you will be able to do when you have a level 8 Laboratory. The upgrade will take 12 days and will reward 1,018 experience. A level 2 Direct Spell will allow you to draw a 6-tile path for your troops to follow. It will cost 150,000 dark elixir to upgrade your Direct Spell to level 3 which you will be able to do when you have a level 9 Laboratory. The upgrade will take 14 days and will reward 1,099 experience. A level 3 Direct Spell will allow you to draw a 7-tile path for your troops to follow.
I’m very sorry that I don’t have any design for the Direct Spell or the level 5 Dark Spell Factory. I can try to describe what the Direct Spell will look like though. The spell will be inside a little beaker like all the other Dark Spells. The liquid inside the beaker will be dark purple and surrounding the spell are arrows pointing right. I will also try to make a description in the game for the Direct Spell.

You guys are free to comment about things you think I should change about this spell. Supercell Team, if you are thinking about adding this Direct Spell to Clash of Clans, you guys are able to modify this Dark Spell as much as you guys want. I used clashofclans.wikia.com for information on the statistics of the Laboratory, other Dark Spells, how much Dark Elixir Storages hold at each level, etc. I will check on Supercell Forums often. Shout out to PK Snowstorm, my friend who helped me with cresting this spell and coming up with the idea of having a Direct Spell after raging a whole bunch when using GoVaWi when his Valkyries would continually attack troops outside of the base’s walls.
