PerkyCox usually starts the event threads, but I think he's at camp this weekend...?
I've been sitting on a gold lure that I got from a mystery net some time ago. I'm thrilled to say that I just got a 12 lb Golden Carp. A first for me! Yay!
How's the event going for you?

is there any guide
to get most fish during this event?
Use only voucher lures. Always wait that there is tiny circle and fish should move slowly. You can get giant fishes! Good luck!

Mini, I believe Alvin is just saying that they have never participated, not that they don't want to participate. :)
Alvin, try focussing on the event fish only! It may take a while to get them, but it's well worth it. If you don't know if you have an event fish, watch the outer circle move inward. If this is going VERY slowly, it's likely that you've got one! :D

By the numbers in the Global Event Goal, it doesn't look like many are participating anymore. :(
BEK -- thanks for starting this thread!! You are right that I was at Girl Scout camp this week. It was SUPER HOT, EXCELLENTLY FUN and COMPLETELY EXHAUSTING -- and I'm ready to rest for a few days and go back!! Lol
(First I have to wash my 50 bug jugs and 16 bug nets. Who says girls hate bugs? LOL)
So far i was able to catch 6 event fishes and pair the event with my last derby task. :)

Now for some new pets to spend them on ... maybe some bunnies and horses to round out the lonely houses. Perhaps next update. :) I am NOT complaining; this update sounds amazing!! :D:D

I'm getting thru the fishing event pretty fast! The fifth prize is what I am aiming for next! I guess it pays to really stock up on fishing lures!!! Here is the prizes I've been getting---
