WOO HOO -- Double XP trucks, right after I made a big pile of coins after the visitor event!! LOL -- time to spread that cash around the HD world ha ha ha
I'm starting at Lev 117, 344,867 of 894,000 XP to Lev 118.
I'd like to level up to 118 today, but the barn is a bit bare after all those visitors!!
So far my best order was for 3920XP.
I am trashing everything under 1700 for now, but may bump that up later.
Your thoughts and experiences? Let's learn from each other :)
I'm not going to be trashing orders that aren't 'good enough' (again, I'm not hardcore enough for these forums :D) but this event should help me get up to level 66! :) My best order on the board at the moment is for 2282 exp. I'm waiting for a possible good truck task to get going with this one :D

I love the idea of double XP points for truck, but, gosh, without Tom, it's very difficult to get the items. 😥 Tom expired for me and I am having problems getting diamonds to re-hire him. Trying to save my money for the update.
Yes! I'm so happy! I've been waiting for this event...my board has been full of tickets waiting for this event. Hmm...I didn't think to keep track of how much xp I'm gaining. Already sent the 8 tickets I had waiting. But I know the highest ticket was worth around 9200 xp when doubled. Maybe I'll start keeping track now. :)
I'm super close to leveling up to 114, so guess I'll see how close I get to the next level.
@Midori, with enough patience you'll get to level 100 eventually :D
Not overly interested in this one myself; will do jewellery / bars for vouchers but probably no others. Not demanding more XP at the moment. Finally have all machines / duck : lobster levels I can afford which took ages.
I got in coin troubles in the first place due to levelling too fast.
I'll just keep trading food instead, my high lv trading partners will appreciate that more during this event too.

I am thrilled with this event as I usually ignore coin events. Level 90 as of a couple days ago so the bar is still low. I have done a few trucks since last night and this morning but have also spent a lot of time trashing orders as my rule is never to fill orders unless the xp value is twice the coin value, which means that I won't fill orders unless the xp value is 4 times during the event. I do make some exceptions, filling trucks asking for wheat or corn which are plentiful. I haven't been keeping track but the highest currently on my board is for 6 strawberry candles for 3336.
I have a 3922 order! It will be done in four hours (good thing I queued some blackberry jam)

I suppose I'm one of the few that don't like this event.
I am undecided. At level 54 should be doing double XP right?
Trouble is I am in re-stock for next derby mode. I normally like to save everything for the derby effort... so I could forget the event and wait til derby achievements are all done. Or I could just forget barn re stock, go for event and play catch up in the week.
Some times I feel like opt out of derby would make things more fun again, as I would like to focus on town more.

I love this event.
Best order so far has been 6190 - but it wanted 30 Honey so got trashed.
The best one I filled was for about 5800, I didn't even screen shot it because it was just a very instant 'Woo hoo - 5800 for that?! Sure!'
678 for 39 milk was pretty ridiculous along with another one for 22 fish for 178...yeah right.:saywhat:

Amy regrets? My barn @ level 54 is considerably smaller. After last derby i have been struggling in particular with cream/butter/cheese demands, so I only did a few trucks - I hate having zero - 1 items before a new derby. Though derby would be unaffected if avoid truck task etc .... in hindsight I am also telling myself maybe I should have maxed on the opportunity and just opted out this Derby.Quote:

Agreed. Fishing has always been my favorite event. Not because I like to fish, it's cuz I love to shop :) Fish items are plentiful during fishing events...scooping up 10 fillets in the DD saves me 10 lures and 2 minutes of fishing :DQuote:

I hear ya Frog :( I tried to buy eggs 4x yesterday -- nope, nope, nope, and nope. No eggs advertised -- only crops. Looking through crop ads, few eggs behind the crop ads. When there WERE eggs there, they were already sold, leaving nothing but full-priced wheat. :( :( :(Quote:

Is it just me or is the XP for truck orders now really low since the event finished? I am getting all under 1000 XP for even tough trucks with jam and feathers!
Wow really!! We all get different versions of dd it seems, I know dd has been stripped bare and mostly just wheat sales... But all the time I am farming tools I also do eggs and sell at my standard price of 150g per 10, I didn't do anywhere near as many trucks as I would have liked so it was mostly business as usual for me selling corn and eggs side by side.Quote:
