In your opinion, which TH is the best to stay at? - in regards to being able to easily defeat people and not having to wait days on end just to upgrade one thing. Trophies not a concern.

TH 7 seems the best to me. Ipgrades do start to take a little whole there, but you can still easily get the resources to do them. Also, you can still get the barbarian king, although that is pretty tough for TH 7 without gemming. Personally, I dont like the ones below that because everything is just too easy and I always soent most of my time just waiting for a builder to free up. TH 8 is pretty good too, which is why I am still there. The downsides to Th 8 is that resources can become a problem sometimes (but nothing like at TH9) and upgrades almost always take several days.
TH7 opens you up to be invaded by TH8 and TH9, correct?
Any TH lvl can be attacked by any other TH lvl. If you are talking anout being looted, then yeah. I live off TH lvl 7 players. Im not sure how much TH9 owners like them though.Quote:

TH 2 - after that it all gets quite addicting, you lose concentration at work, your meal times are fitted around your troop regen time, you get the ipad wet keeping the session alive when you are in the bath, your kids think you are strange muttering things about elix and gold as you wonder around the house like a zombie.
And try going down the pub and tell people who don't play about the game - not good for credibility!
No, best stay at TH2 and don't go higher :)

This sounds like something I would like to investigate. But I have heard stories about lower ratings being filled with a lot of low level players, and that kind of keeps me from doing it. I have been that low before, and the climb is tedious.Quote:

TH7 :) I think at this point in time you should be able to max everything until what level limit of TH 7 can and you get to use 200 troops :)

TH7...problem is, once you get everything maxed out for it there isn't much you can do but upgrade to TH8. Hats where I am and there is a noticeable loot difference. Thankfully TH8 will keep me occupied for a long time.
Judging from what everyone says, it seems like TH7 seems the best. You seem to get the most power from 6->7, just like 4->5 - mainly because of the additional army camp.
Only bad part is you don't have access to the Archer Queen.
At TH7, do you still get invaded by Tier 1 troops (Barbs, Archers, Giants)? Or do you get a handful of people attacking you with Dragons or PEKKA's?

My TH7 junior account is raiding rather frequently for smaller loots. Raiding about every 5 minutes or so. It's fast and fun, throwing only gobs around at low troph level.
My TH9 main account is raiding less frequently but for larger loots. Raiding about every 20-30 minutes. Larger loots, but need to bust through walls.
Six or one-half dozen, I'd say. Shades of grey. I speak from direct personal experience as I am playing both accounts at the same time, Lol. Both are fun and fine, people make too big a deal over this issue. If you upgrade, do it smartly or well. A weak TH9 is a cow to be farmed.
