Great guide! It suites my attacking style perfectly, as I'm loving barb-arch at TH6 at the moment. Once I get minions I'll definitely try this out.

interesting, well written guide - well done. I've never tried BAM but might give it a go now that all these troops are maxed. i tend to do collector raids and all-in raids with archer/gob/giant/wb/healer. To respond to some of the comments, it's still farming as long as you arent after trophies, you're maximising loot and concentrating on return on investment, whatever the mix!

Been using BAM for a while before I read the thread but great guide!!! I am currently suffering from upgrading my barracks to lvl 10 because of my friend's dare. only having 3 barracks is killing me!

Great guide definitely my best results using my farming army. I used to think minions were worthless. Now they are going to max for town hall 8.:)
I recommend adding a few WBs to this composition. There's nothing worse then watching your barbarians/archers get pulverized while they are chipping away at a wall.
WBS could help but the important thing to consider is when to use them. The idea behind BAM is to pick off buildings from the outside inward. This is why BAM is so successful; you line up meat shields chipping at walls while archers take care of the defence behind those walls. A well times attack would have your outer wall break just after the the buildings behind that wall are all gone.
At this stage you could employ some WBS to open up the inner core. You will find though that you really don't need to. Careful deployment at this stage will be very effective. If you do have lvl 5 or less troops then I could see some benefit from additional troop types.
Always remember though, base selection is key; don't get blinded by the loot available numbers. There is always a better match a few next's away!
