Its something! Just say thank you and wish them a very Happy Birthday! After all, you're playing the game, arent you? And the game drew you in enough to come here on the forums and be part of the community.

I logged in this morning, saw the message, and immediately boosted all my collectors, mines, and drills... put me in the happy camper category.

They DON'T have the obligation to give us NOTHING. Stop being so ungrateful. If you don't like their little gesture, guess what? Yup.

They gave us easily 1000 gems worth of boost (not taking the time to do the math), and it makes for way more loot in the overall community, so raids will be better as well, for quite some time. So for regular farmers etc, this will add a few million to raids over the week easily.

Agreed, but if you think about it its more than 1000 gems and more like 2000. 432k extra gold and elixir per day at the max for th7/8/9 and for th8+ the de boost is massive.

if you dont like it dont buy it, they are giving us something worth 10k gems_ ...

Then to boost for one day nonstop is 25x4 = 100
then for a whole week would be 700 gems, per collector.

So in retrospect, Supercell gave us 700 gems in exchange for one. Pretty good deal imo.

The game have thousands if not millions of people playing(lazy to do research) and to me this is a big gift. Now tell me how do you celebrate your birthday? Do you send a million dollar gift card to millions of people in your country? Or were you expecting a gift for yourself?

It's good but not that good. At th10 with maxed collectors this is about 3.5m gold/elixir and about 50k de. To buy that much is 1267 gems for the gold or elixir and 1667 for the de or about 4200 gems total. This is also not at wholesale rates.

Nothing to scoff at, but a lot less than 10k gems.

Plus this should also provide a good boost for raids too.

Complaining about this is stupid, yes, but this is nothing like sending a million dollar gift card. You have to factor in the fact that the vast majority taking advantage of this would not have bought resources with gems purchased with real money.
