I suggest that maybe SC can get rid of items players don't like and replace it with different item

I have no problem with fish pie. I do not remember seeing anyone complain about it.
Add overalls, but no need to remove chaps.
No problem with pumpkin.
I would not want to see anything discontinued. New stuff, sure.
I agree with this. Mostly. Fish pie is just gross. Plus- eggs? Why eggs in the pies? I vote for cherry pie with no eggs.Quote:

The wool chaps are just weird. Who came up with those? I would really like to know. Overalls or jeans or jean jackets would be more appropriate on the farm, for sure.
We definitely need to keep our pumpkins if for no other reason than how wonderful they look with our "fall harvest" farms. I plant a lot of extra pumpkins in the fall and set up a pumpkin patch. They also become jack-o-lanterns for Halloween.
The chaps are pretty ridiculous, but they do use up wool which makes them a plus for squeaking out a bit of room in my barn. I would like to see overalls added. Maybe a red bandana, too.
I love my fish pie, but cherry pie would be my #1 choice to add to the pie maker.
The problem with taking pizza out of an existing machine is that new machines should (in my opinion) only be introduced above level 80. By removing pizza from the bread oven, it would probably take a product away from farmers who had been making pizza but were below the level of the new pizza oven. There are 3 different types of pizza. I doubt if anyone would complain about not needing to use the cheese and lobster at the lower levels if those pizzas were moved to a high-level pizza oven. If bread oven products were substituted at the levels of the three pizzas, it might work: something like pretzels for cheese pizza, brownies for chili pizza, and cinnamon rolls for fruitti di mare pizza.

Why do things need to go before we add new stuff? I LIKE THE OLD STUFF! Of course, many of the new products you suggest would be great! :D
I like the old stuff too. I got to thinking though: If people still had the old stock when all was replaced, what happens then? Something to consider.
How about just making a calzone maker instead? Then we can still have pizza-like food and they can have new toppings.
I fundamentally agree that changing the product lines in existing machines is not going to happen. The complications alone would make the investment of time on the part of the programmers not worthwhile. As the machines have become more and more specialized, they are bound to include things that were offered early on. I think that leaves us with a choice; (1)endlessly nit-pick what products might be more authentic, logical (can you really cook bacon and a fried egg on a barbecue??), and better sorted by type, or (2) just go with our quirky Hay Day farming "rules" and trust that the developers are coming up with some new and really original features and machines for us.
In an earlier post, I supported the pretzel and cinnamon roll suggestion and added brownies. I would be fine with adding those to existing ovens as new products. What I'd really like to see would be new features like the mushroom log, clam/oyster bed in the fishing area, a fishing pier in town, and silkworms that would give us new ingredients for our existing machines.
That seafood pizza is awful. Gross. LoL. If it went away I sure wouldn't be upset. But I don't think removing products is the answer. Just add some fresh new ones. Maybe don't add a new machine, but reducing times for some products and offering extra production slots on existing machines would be a nice happy medium.

When are we going to get this mushroom log already? C'mon SC. Give us the mushroom-growin' power! LOL. I hope THAT is the surprise we will see in the update. ;)
I like the reducing the waiting times too. Or keep the waiting times and let higher levels make the new stuff. I would love for something new to do.
