Engineered clans case study

Engineered designs will always exist - dont fool yourself by thinking SC Can stop this. Engineering will just adapt into the envoirement that are given.

For an example if they change the algorythm to become amount of TH Lane by Lane or unit by unit wize this Would be adapted into the engineered designs. Suddently 80% of all players who are in farmer clans/push clans will see themself being matched unfair more ofte. Than they do now.

all good warclans knows the winner is the one who has most good defence in the top. Example:
15 th11 and 15th10 and 5 th9 vs 5 th11 and 20 th10.5 and 5 th9.5 the ones with 15 th11 Would win even though offence wize the opponents has better offence cause it will come Down to 3-starring most th11!

this example Can be done with power th also!

From what I've read on these very forums, by educated 'Engineers', I certainly wouldn't compare Clans with either X.5's or the odd defenceless base in their roster, with Engineered Clans. There are actually very few truly engineered clans out there in Clashland.

As matchmaking is designed to benefit 'Balanced' war bases, I also don't believe that the odd defenceless base actually benefits the clan in question as a whole. Certainly , when my own clan faces a clan with a defenceless base, more often than not, we have the advantage with overall clan matching.

I think many complainers confuse losing to an engineered clan as equal to being mismatched. One can get an unfavorable mismatch yet beating the #hit out of the other clan. Top war clans certainly demonstrated that fact. I can guarantee that give engineered bases to a bunch of complainers here, they will still manage to lose. In fact, they will probably lose more often than if they had kept with their plain vanilla maxxer bases.
Lets face it, engineered bases are owned by superbe players with above average attacking skill. That is the number one reason why they crush you maxxer clans. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm sure there are many players like this Tango. I'm sure there are players with engineered bases who could be described as 'elite' attackers.
Unfortunately, I just haven't come across them.... yet! I certainly wouldn't suggest a player with level 4 Hogs, 3 starring a TH8, has above average attacking skill!:thumbsup:

What would cause the 80% (clearly a made up statistic) of farmers to suddenly get unfair match ups if TH level was more heavily weighted?
Again most do not have a problem with engineered bases (0.5, off>def,ect.) The real issue is those whom create def less bases for the sole reason of exploiting the match making.
The irony of those whom claim to be elite must use extreme measures to be matched against inferior bases.

Agree. Sometimes. Nevertheless, that brush paints a much better picture than the ones used by clueless complainers.

I agree. The current MM algorithm is almost perfect as it is, since manipulation is very difficult to achieve. Any change to the algorithm will make manipulation much easier. Every suggestion of change I have heard so far will either 1) lead to more mismatches, 2) can be more easily subjected to manipulation or 3) was already considered and included in the algorithm (those complainers just don't know it.)

Beside, to even suggest a solution to a problem, one needs to understand the problem first. Unfortunately, I don't think the vast majority of complainers even grasp that issue.
