Engineered clans case study

There is a reason engineers get paid excellent wages, they are smart. They use statistics, math, research and tons of planning to execute the proper plan.

Maybe you should take a few tips from the war and implement them into your clan. Be a leader, not a follower.

i don't really think there are enough engineered clan to well match up with each other at any time... regardless how well the match up algorithm SC can come out... end of the day some unlucky clan still have to be placed to match up with these clans

What does an engineers wage matter with respect to def less bases?
Few clashers care enough to take the time to build a def less base. Even if I did have the time to build a def less base I for one prefer as fair of a match up as possible in all competitive games/sports. Who would want to play against a bunch of kids... well I guess this thread shows whom.

Simply weight TH level more and this exploit goes away. Then those with def less bases would be forced to beat people with equivalent bases.

In respect to an "engineered clan", wages = wins.
Obviously, many clashers care enough to take the time to build defenseless bases. If they did not, we would not have threads upon threads ranting about losing wars.

Just because one clan employs a different strategy than the inside-the-box mindset most clans follow, does not mean they don't comply with fair play rules. Think of the start of the NBA Finals. I'm a die-hard Cavs fan. The Cavs and Warriors will both try out different lineups, tall, small, fast, 3-pt, etc. It's all part of the game and inside the rules of the game.

I'm not even going to reply to the kids part, you said it yourself. It's a game.

I don't personally count a defenseless as engineered, why we have come up with three terms: defenseless, engineered & .5
For me, an engineered has enough defenses so it has to be cleared by 1 th up (usually) from where it lands and has optimized O upgrades to keep a hidden war weight.
maybe an umbrella term should be coined for all three, like "modified", with the 3 sub categories under it.

JFC, All the swimmers were using them dude. They didn't invest time and money into it, Swimsuit makers did. Any all the competitive swimmers are sponsored by companies or governments, so they didn't spend their money on them. AND YOU IMPLIED THAT SWIMMERS DIDN'T NEED TO PRACTICE, JUST PUT ON THE SUIT TO SET WORLD RECORDS.

As far as your "idea" of putting weight into the TH, it won't fix this. These bases will still have the effect of bringing defensive weight down. Rushers will be severely impacted by this as well, and in general this will cause even more matchmaking difficulties.

End of the day, there is no perfect solution that supercell can implement, without causing day, or days, long matchmaking searches. And people will always find a way to gain any advantage over their opponent, that's one of the key points of a game with this much depth in strategy. So, you've got a couple options.
1. Strategize with your clan to counteract the engineered bases. This is very possible, and if everyone of the complainers spent as much energy on discussing ways to combat this, instead of running to the forums and crying, well...
2. Apply your own engineering
3. Deal with it. The occasional loss to a clan that puts in more effort and plays at a deeper level of strategy isn't worth breaking the game over, is it?

you know what. keep engineered bases. nothings better than seeing players whine because they arent good enough to beat smarter and more strategic players
