Terrible long waiting time?

Hello,

My son want to play this game, so i downloaded this game.
some building you build, take hours to complete, and sometimes many many more hours. Sometimes you cant go any further, because some buildings cant be paced untill the first is build ( waiting and waiting)

But.... Luckely there are gems to complete the process. Ye right... Wich cost money.
i have seen games, where you have to wait 24 hours. What does this waitingtime, add to the gamingexperience
Or gameplay. This ( waiting issue ) havnt i seen earlier on pc/ps/xbox games. Why not? It doesnt add anything to the game.
i understand that this is only a trick, to earn money. I could find any other reason for this. I dont care to pay for apps, but not when they push you in a corner with idiotic long and unrealistic waiting times. This changed my mind, and jailbreaking my ipad with an inapp purchase tweak. Now he can play this game at a normal speed.

My question is. Was it just an error? These waiting times? Or is this really the games standards?
Why gems to complete a process? A common source in many games, is gold. Why not giving the gamers, the possibility, to add more gold or other resource ( wich is a more standard during the game, and easier to get) and add this to your building so the process will complete faster.

Example: building cost 500 gold, and takes 2 hours to complete
Or: building cost 700 gold, and take 2 minutes to complete.

If the developer of the game, really loves these waitingtimes, and find them usefull, then this
is a good alternative? Still waiting, but all more cheaper.. ( but thats the problem, isnt it?)

It's game standards. You need to wait. Maybe buy more builders, they help a lot!


Btw, In-App Purchase tweak won't work with Clash of Clans.
Clash of Clans uses UNIQUE IDENTIFIERS to check whether the payment is fake.

So it is as i said. Creating frustration and impatience, and hoping they will buy items to
prevent this haha, and still they having fans who adore games and developers like this? Lol

So he has 5 builders?
The waiting time won't decrease even if you have maxed up your builder huts, but more builders means more things you can do at once.
Long waiting time encourages players to buy gems, that's all.
However, in my opinion, those waiting times make the game more fun.
As offensive buildings (defenses) will not work while upgrading.
Imagine cannons (in real world) upgrading, need to seperate its parts, cannot attack while they are separated.
This is realistic right?

Sorry if my sentences are hard to understand.
I'm not a native speaker.

24 hours of waiting time is fun?
i am happy we agree about the gem purchase thing. That this is made
frustrating long. Why not a waiting time of 2 hours instead of 24? It is so
clear, that this is only, to frustrate and let people spent money on this waiting time, wich can easily
Prevent buy the developer, to give the possibility to spent more ( standard resource ) to fasten the process, but no haha.
and still there are people, talking with passion, about games like this and their developer.

Frustrating gameplay ( i cant find another word for a 24 hour waiting time, its so clear ) only to
lure people to a store, to spent money. Just uninstalled application. Game the smurfs was also a game like this.
in-app tweak worked, but still deleted this game, because of the bitter aftertaste haha.

Also good job on lying about hacking the game for free gems.

Doesn't really make you cool or whatever, good measures showing off on a forum for a game ur son plays lol.

Agree with this.
If you (the author of this thread) could really hack the game, why are you still complaining here!?

But if he does he cannot play with the internetton or do anything that goes throo scs server, hacked my game and i worked
for like 2 hours!

There are alot of games that require waiting time, mainly games that have long term development as their goal.

This is how most MMORPG games go. This is not street fighter or king of fighters or final fantasy.

Heck, even sims require some waiting. Wat's the fun in rushing to the end point within weeks?

Use your imaginary free gems to immediately finish every building.

If you are moaning about a couple of hours you might as well delete the app.
