Can the walls be lowered in price significantly at level 8 and above. The walls are way too expensive and the defenses are already expensive as hell meaning people will quit the game because it's just grinding and not very enjoyable to play.

We already have FC for fun. I'm grinding through level 9 walls, don't seem too bad. It is supposed to be a grind at later THs. In the meantime, we can war, farm, find clans, etc.
Wall prices are fine, they are meant to be expensive. If you believe walls are too expensive then don't upgrade them, there is no requirement to do so. If you want higher level walls then put in the time and effort to upgrade them, many have managed without complaining they are too expensive.
I agree, the walls at higher levels are ridiculously expensive and ruins the game for many. One single little wall piece is as much as an entire building upgrade. People get frustrated and give up on the game. With lowering the price a bit it would encourage them to carry on with the upgrades as they could see some progress
Level 8 walls are quite cheap, when I was a TH8, I ended up finishing walls before defenses, now I just do 3 mil gold and 3 mil elixir changing back and forth which make it manageable, but level 8 are just 2 raids and boom a wall is done, either go to a league where loot if favorable, or don't do them at all, nor a requirement, just a preference, js
I wouldn't mind grinding a bit but when a wall costs 10000000 and theirs 275 walls to do. I'm sorry but that's a joke especially if the walls keep going up in price for each 1. That will take some hell of a grinding and bare in mind most people who play are casuals not hardcore sweats nor do people play the game everytime they have troops ready, people have work, school, college and a life you know...
It's the same for everyone and the fact that they aren't dirt cheap is good because everyone s at different stages of completion.
I can't compete in the wall department with the people that have the means to buy and use gems to upgrade them. If I'm up against them in war, I'm doomed and if I run across them in regular battles without an air army built, I have to move on no matter how much loot is available to raid. And just a side note, I'm a bit on the OCD side and mixed walls drives me crazy...
Like with anything, the more time and effort you put into something the faster you will progress and the greater the reward. You can't expect to achieve the same as someone who plays 6 hours a day and someone who puts in 1-2 hours a day. Besides there is another way of getting the walls done, it's called Gems, use real money if it bothers you.
If you play less, then you must understand that you will also progress at a slower rate.
Every game has its casual and hardcore market. There's gotta be something for the hardcores to work towards and thus SC presented them with the wall grind. High level walls 9+ are what separate the hardcores and the casuals. You're a casual so know where your limit lies.
No, I'm sorry but your completely wrong. I play games regularly right and fair enough sure spend hours on a game but don't make them sit on the game raiding if they want to get something. It's supposed to be enjoyable, I shouldn't have to worry about coming on every time my troops are done for 24 hours a day 7 days a week if I want to have good items. Ive played alot of games and non of them require you to play so much if you want good things. The general public are casuals, leave the rare items like a cosmetic really cool looking item to the people who want to play so much not to the people who want to make progress in a game without doing something special. Exuse the wording.
If the price of walls were decreased, then they would be much easier to upgrade which would then lead to walls being overpowered. If that happened, then the hp of walls would be decreased and then people would complain even more about how walls are useless.
Or you could just decrease the price of walls and leave the HP because the HP is set for each townhall to combat the troops other wise thats like saying oh because im townhall 11 I should have lvl1 walls because lvl 2 has too much health...well why put it in the game if your not ment to have them or they are unballanced? When you rank up townhalls you go up in defense to make it even. Walls are too expensive at a specific townhall, I get its not ment to be a walk in the park but cmon your jus taking the **ss now. Supposed to be a 12+ game, kids are supposed to enjoy it not force them to play if they want to get something worth having...
