Bonus Items - More visible when harvesting crops

I have recently reached a point where I have enough fields to ensure I receive a bonus item on every "full field" harvest.

My complaint is that when I receive the bonus item, 9/10 times I see the white "BONUS" letters, but the actual item I am receiving is hidden behind the crops that are moving to my silo. I don't have every item in my barn memorized, so searching for an item that I just received that may be of immediate use to me (ex: and ax or a saw) is futile.

I would like to request that the bonus items take precedence over the crops and are programmed to always remain at the foreground of the screen during the harvesting/collection process.

Players generally know what item they are harvesting or collecting - we don't need to see a soybean over top of the mystery bonus item we just got when we know that we have nothing but soybeans planted.

Fair call, it would be nice it the bonus item made a point of going in front of crops at all times.

One of the updates a while back changed the way bonus items (aka dropped items) were shown. They now appear to move toward you on the screen for a bit so that they are more easily seen and noticed. I always see which item is dropping while doing my farming.

Is it possible you play on a phone and the smaller screen may not accommodate the dropped item being shown in this way?

Most of the time, the item does seem to grow bigger in a way and is noticeable, BUT, I have had it happen that it moves so fast that i don't see it. So yes, this would be a good idea.

Yes, Knitgal2, I play on an iPhone 6.

It would be lovely, however, to have a simple programming fix implemented rather then spending $200+ on a tablet with a larger screen :)

As knitgal says, SC did make an attempt to have bonus items show more clearly a while back. However, there are quite a few places besides crop harvesting, even with a tablet, where it isn't very clear. For example, when you open a gift box it is very hard to tell unless you look carefully that you got more than one of the item in it. There have been a lot of threads that complain about getting "one screw" for a 30-gift card package when it actually contained something like 10 screws. A little additional clarity would be appreciated.
