Excellent question. This has been an issue for -millions?- of people since the game came out. You're just lucky it was 10 though. I started a couple months ago and have spent probably 100 at least by accident, as have so many others over time. SuperCell has thus far refused to fix this....
It's the most requested feature and one that's unlikely to be implemented. I've made it no secret on this forum my intense dislike for it.
I do feel for you and understand, I've lost over 100 diamonds over the course of nearly 2 months that I have been playing. I've never bought diamonds and am very unlikely to because of this reason alone since that would be like losing my hard earned money if I happen to misclick something. SC is super generous with free diamonds though, the brighter side to this terrible 'feature'.
I agree. I lost again more diamonds again yesterday! - 19 to revive a cocoa tree.
I love this game but refuse to buy diamonds only to lose them because supercell refuses,to create a confirm button. I'm sure if they created a confirm button more people would be apt to purchase more diamonds.. Until such time I will not buy anything more.. I love the game and the updates but can't understand why supercell will not comply with the numerous request for a confirm button !
It is so frustrating! It literally makes me crazy!! I don't Hardley have any diamonds. So I hoard them. And it sucks to loose 10 diamonds on stupidity!! Erks me to no end! I have probably lost at least 50 since June 1st! Most of them when I was a rookie. Thanks for letting me vent.
This will never be fixed. An administrator on Hay Day's Facebook page said a "confirm" button would interrupt the flow of the game and slow things down too much, so it'll never happen.

This morning I received a special for $29 for 1500 diamonds. Great price and would have jumped on it, but didn't want to take the chance of losing them all..
They have a confirm button for when you cast off the boat without filling the order. So I think the excuse for not doing it with accidental diamond usage is just bull... :)Quote:

I'm sorry for your loss. I spent over 100 diamonds accidentally once. Luckily it was on land deeds.
