Any thoughts on players being able to pick up town visitors from non neighbourhood farms, for example 'followed' farms.
My NH is 2 people and there is often a shortage of town visitors, particularly during the Derby. It probably isn't as useful for large NH's, but just a thought.:)
Apologies if this has already been said, but I couldn't find anything similar with a quick search.
I understand why you would want to be able to do so, but having townies available for hood members is part of hood planning. Some only want others and do not do their own as they only have to do one building. Complaints would be loud and nasty.
My guess is that limiting the PT train to neighbors is another way in which SC tries to encourage farmers to join together into larger neighborhoods. Same as limiting the number of horseshoe goal posts that can be attained by NHs smaller than four.
I would love this. I'm the only person in my hood and Greg doesn't give up very many townies. (I have zero interest in joining a large hood. Too much drama and too many demands. IMHO)
I would not like to see the personal train extended past the neighbourhood. There's enough complaining about friends and followers buying stuff in people's shops, if they could also pick up townies there'd be a lot of negative emotion spread about. And I like that it gives a purpose to neighbourhoods beyond the derby - there should be more than just derbying to tie a neighbourhood together.
But I do love the idea of Greg releasing more townies as a person's town level increases. And the idea of a third upgrade to allow more than one neighbourhood town stop.
I completely agree with becker's entire post. It's true that PT townies are a prized commodity. In our neighborhood, there are a number of people who are not town aficionados at all, but at least one does those of us who love our towns the very great favor of going regularly to her town just to release all her Eggspress visitors. If people from the friends/followers tabs were also able to come through and pick them up, "negative emotion" is a polite way of describing what would result.Quote:

For those who love their towns, and particularly those who will always choose to play as an NH of 1-3 people, I think it would be brilliant to encourage town upgrades by increasing the number of PT visitors on Greg's platform and increasing the number of stops the PT could make as you reach certain town levels.
I think Greg is the perfect compromise. I know that many people have issues with friends/followers "raiding" their shops (aren't we putting stuff there to sell...???), but this would not be an issue for me. The more the merrier. Buy all of my stuff! Take all of my townies! Live long and prosper! I think Greg could be a little more generous and give me 5 townies, instead of one or two. Just sayin'.Quote:
