Giant Bomb Change

I suggest to change how the giant bomb work.
I lost three attacks in a row because a single giant bomb killed 15-ish sorceres.
That's insane, the attacks were perfect but in a base full of 2x2 gaps this kind of attack rely too much on LUCK.

So my idea is:
the giant bomb deals a total damage that is spared between troops. That means that the more troops are in the range of the giant bomb, the less damage they take, equally spared.

So if there are, like, 5 mages, they dies. If they're 10, they survive with half hp.

Let me know what you think about it.

Another solution would be that damage decrese as far as a troop are from the center of the bomb. If they are on the ledge of the circle, they take less damage, if they're on top, they dies.

So hog attacks will become overpowered again? It was unfortunate for you a lot of your lower hp troops found the giant bomb, but they seem fine as is.

Also, how would you account for a golem and an arch hitting it? Would it do more damage to the golem or spread half to both even though the archer dies easily?

It could be spread proportionally using the max hp as a reference. The archer would die anyway and golem would take the 90-ish% of the damage.

They could make the hogs die no matter what against a double giant bomb as always. :3

Just stop grouping your troops. Anyways why would you send your troops there if you know there is giant bomb there? Just send your troops from a place where they wont

I don't group my troops, I make them go in the center of the base behind the golems/giant, that's basic stuff. I don't know where the bombs are, especially in a wide open base.
Also, saying that i shoud just avoid the bombs is like saying that a gun to hand combat is fair because you can dodge the bullets.

You REALLY need to leard a different attack then GOWIPE. Its banned in some clans as a viable attack.

Obvious bomb placements aren't as obvious, but by looking at the base you should be able to determine where it is, at a TH9+ level there may be multiple bomb positions, try next time by triggering those bombs with your TANK troops or heroes, if you make them pass by there, then you should have better success, hopefully.

And I wasn't speaking about farming but about every army that has more than 8 wizard in it

Please don't replay by giving basic tips. When I had already deploied all my troops one minutes ago, when I'm 2 minutes ahead in an attack, I can't make the tank trigger the bombs, especially because i don't know where they are. Also, if I was skilled enough to make most of my wizard live though the attack, whatching them blow up by a single bomb is not lack of skill, it's just unluck, and it provides an unfair defense to the person i'm attacking.
Ps: i'm a mid-end th10, I attack semi-maxed th10.

So basically, let's just eliminate giant bombs entirely and give an additional 4-6 small bombs? But when the small bombs are together, they do additional damage to hogs and can wipe them out. Pretty much seems to be what you're saying. Doesn't make sense. It's why people spread out the base. Good for the defender and lucky for him the right troops found the giant bomb.

This is a strategy game, it shouldn't rely on luck. Also that's not what I meant. The giant bomb are just put at a state where they cant destroy a big clouster of troops but just heavily damage it OR making it smaller, with the exception of the hog riders that would die no matter what.
That also would give the giant a way to shine again, since if you play with them you cant split you army too much.

I think the stupidest thing you can do with sorcerers, or wizards, is clump them up in huge groups... I'm not sure what town hall level you are, but you need to be more careful with deployment. Yes, this is a strategy game, but for BOTH offense and defense.

From what you're telling us, you lost all 15 of your wizards in a Gowipe because you clumped them up, eventually running into a giant bomb.

Pay more attention, don't be clumping strong troops like wizards together, you're wasting a lot. Yes, hitting weird bombs and traps is unfortunate, but never have it be the end of a raid. Good luck next time, I suppose.

shouldn't have 15 wizards in such small clump that they get hit with a single giant bomb. try either spreading your troops, or bringing more tanks/medium troops (valks, hogs, giants, etc).

I've never had to go through this problem before. It would make higher level bases OP with mass-hogs, sorry.

I'm not talking about bombs on the outside. Clearly you can't deploy all your wizard in the same spot, but eventually you must thunnel them in the centre of the base, since it's unlikley that you three-star an higher base than you with gowipe. That's when the bomb hit.
I should also mention that I've been without my queen the last week and so this problem became much much relevant since the wizard were the only brute-force I had.
They can't be replaced, especially if you wish to use only regular elixer, and a bomb is simply too strong on them.

They eventually have to get clump if you want to get the town hall

As I said, 2 bombs would still kill any hogs.

First? I played at least 10 matches without the queen and I always had to face this problem.
No matter how good the attack was, bomb triggered during spell, wizards moving fast destroy what keep the tank busy, move foreword and die all togheter.
This is fixed for TH11 because of the hero's ability, but it's still a problem for TH10. Maybe not TH9 because you can attack a th9 slowly and most of the time the bombs' position is obvious, but in th10 where infernos give the opportunity to use the bomb regardless of the hog riders, they are OP against certain troops.
