so should I move up? I have the majority of walls at level 5, all my defenses are maxed except 1 wizard tower at level 2, a archer tower at level 6, and my air defense at level 3. so what do guys think? oh and my clan castle can hold 20 troops and my army camps are at 135 troops

If your defenses are maxed then sure. But make sure to stay at TH7 and max everything including lvl 7 walls. TH7 is the best place to farm by far!
Don't upgrade until you max out your army camps. I believe this should always be done because the more troops you have to attack with the betterQuote:

Back on topic... I think you shouldn't move up just yet.. Maybe a couple few more upgrades and you will be ready to go! Since the TH7 upgrade is 6 days and you only have 2 builders, upgrading those Army Camp + Archer tower will be very hard during your TH is upgrading. I recommend you staying in TH6 for a couple more days or even weeks to finish those Army Camp, and then those storages. After those are done, you should upgrade your TH. During your TH is upgrading, get the Air Defense and Wizard Tower to lvl 4 and 3. Also those barracks are important too! Hope that helps, good luck my friend and clash on!

thanks for all the responses guys, and yes I have enough for a 3rd builder, which is why im stumped on what to do next. I know can get enough gold before I get raided to upgrade the wizard tower, but if I do, I believe that side of my base will be severly weaken, and would not want to get raided on constantly every 12 hours. so I was thinking of geming the time it took to build it, or use the gems and get another builder.Quote:

Builder all the way. Gems for builders only! I regret spending gems when I was at TH6.. So don't make that mistake! Clash on! :D

Always get a builder, and always max out army camps asap because the more firepower you have, the more of a chance you will beat the defense!
Best comment on here. Go for the upgrade and hang out at th7 for a while. I'm almost done with every upgrade at th7 other than walls. I'm going to stay th7 until my builders start going idle with nothing to do. Upgrade!Quote:

thank you guys for the intel, I just got the other builder. my troops are all maxed out at level 3, even my lightning spell is at level 3, and I just a healing spell. its true that at level 7 you can get an extra army camp, so what I will do is the next time I have enough gold, my next upgrade will be th7 since it takes 6 days, and then my very next upgrade will be the wizard tower, followed by the archer tower
Upgrade your army camps. Walls to Level 6 if you have the patience.
I love your base design. In fact, my younger brother uses it and wins 80% of defenses. Anyway. TH7 is the easiest place for loot, in my opinion, because its in between every other TH level. Saying that, I would definitely max out everything even if it taken you an extra week or month. You know you have a great package ahead of you. If you max out walls, then you can start level 7 walls at th7. This is a BIG ADVANTAGE in the future. Me saying that because my walls were level 5 at TH8 until I took the time to finish them. Im still working on level 7 but you get my point. Max out anything and everything. Lastly, don't buy gems unless for a builder ;)
I have had really good success with this base design, but from what I have found out is that after I get around 1200+trophies, I start getting attacked by bases that are not only higher town hall levels, but who are 10+ levels up more then me(level40). for example, the last person to attack me was a th8 with a level 63, the troop composition was nearly 200 troops, which consisted of 13 level 4 giants, 8 level 4 wallbreakers, 73 level 4 archers, and 2 level 1 dragons. They only 1 starred me destroying 63% of my base!! so I am actually not winning, but they never 3 star me lol. most of them are 1 star with rare 2 stars. so that's why I am also thinking of moving up to th7.Quote:
