Clan history to be shown on the player profile

Hi,

I'm a leader in a lvl 10 clan and has been leader for the last 4 years, so I have some experience managing the clan and looking through profiles that requests to join our clan.

I am requesting to get some more details on the player profile which shows the last 3-5 clans a player has been active in (as in more than just jumping through 3 clans to erase history).

This would be super helpful for us during wars so we can see if this player has been a part of the opponents clan, or a sister clan. Also we also ask players which clan they come from to see their experience - especially in regards to wars.

I hope that you will consider this, since this would be really helpful for me as a leader (and I am guessing for a lot of other leaders and co-leaders).

This would be an invasion of privacy.

Agree. I don't see any privacy concerns as real.

Cant really see any privacy issues here.

Others games do things like this. Would be a great idea

The privacy issues would be that people would know peoples last clans. If someone is clanless and doesnt want someone else to know what their regular clan, then they would clan hop and then they would be labeled as a clan hopper. But if they dont clan hop, then that person will know their clan and harass them. If this feature ever happens, then it would have to be a toggle on/off feature.

Why is your last clan a privacy issue? Knowing a person's clan history doesn't lead you to knowing their personal details. You might guess their country, but it won't be reliable. It won't reveal their real name, age, or email address.

And why someone should hide his real clan? And most of all: if he have a "real clan" to hide, why someone should even CARE? You would check the last clan just to consider to give him membership, so the "secret clan" thing wouldn't be a problem.

I am not opposed to this idea but it won't stop spying completely. Just have an account that is not in any clan except to spy. People quit CoC all the time so it wouldn't even be that hard to get a high level account to use.

The toggle on/off idea also isn't terrible. Could even make a clan search filter that is similar to a clan being closed. If your clan history is off then a clan can prevent you from even putting in an app using an option. Don't see the point of this however, the privacy thing is very confusing. Exactly what are you trying to hide anyway? Sorry zoelem I really have no idea what you are trying to say.

Benefits would still include
-making spying harder
-Seeing that a player has joined 18 clans in the last 3 days and probably won't stay long

I agree with this, big time. Would be very helpful to evaluate players when recruiting.

For those claiming privacy or other ♥♥, try leading a clan then talk.

Really hoping that SuperCell will consider this. Would be a really helpful tool for co-leaders and leaders.

We get so many requests to join us and it would be really helpful to see their previous clans.

How can I get some feedback from a SC employee about this?

I really hope that this is not ruled out. We use so much time to avoid accepting spies - this would be really helpful for co-leaders and leaders.

enough of privacy breaches with new friends system already, i dont think i would like to have this

Maybe the player should have the possibility to hide the info on the player profile if they for some reason don't want to show the world their clan history. Just like the public war log feature

History is history. It is not that important to determine if it was in the opponents' clan. As long as they are not traitors now it's fine.

Agreed, it would be helpful. And those who are complaining about privacy, what part should not be showed, what part does be offending privacy?

Frankly, why should it be anyone's business which clans I have visited before I visit you? Useless and unnecessary feature request imo.

because it'll be easier to notice spies and to see whether someone's a hopper.

To avoid spies, you can see country of the last clan the player has been a part of and also see the lvl of war experience they are coming from.

So not only to avoid spying but a just more information to see the players experience
