Preferred Language Request

Hi

I have tried looking for this thread but could not find it so created one. Please help if there is another thread.

I would like "Afrikaans" to be added to the "Preferred Language" option - if possible.

I think they must let us type in our preferred language. That will solve everyone's language problem. Ek Dink afrikaans is die beste taal wat daar is. Please hayday do it for South africa.

Isn't Afrikaans almost Dutch? :D

I certainly would like it though i am Dutch. I like Afrikaner words like "moltrein" "hijsbak", "vuurhoutjie" and "skottelbraai".
My father has learned in the fourties "Sari Marais" on school in the Netherlands.

So i second this.

I'm not sure what the exact process is for adding language support to Hay Day is, but as the game has grown worldwide, I have seen new languages added.

So maybe if the community of Hay Day farmers from South Africa starts growing, Afrikaans will be added as a supported language in a future update! :)

Hay Day has support for many languages, so I suppose it's not that unlikely that Afrikaans will be added eventually. :) Hopefully it will be! :D

See, at present we are forced to say English but we speak Afrikaans in our neighbourhood and I know of various such neighbourhoods. Maybe the typing in of your own language will be a great compromise. This should not be such a difficult request to add ;)

Yes, I would also like it if Afrikaans can be added. Playing in your native language just enhances the experience. Do a search through the neighbourhoods using Afrikaans. The stats should make our case.

I agree!! You will be amazed at how many hoods are Afrikaans speaking folks. I did a quick search and found many. I am sure most if not all of them will enjoy the pereferred language option for Afrikaans. Many request to join the Afrikaans hoods then everyone must chat in English because that person cannot chat in Afrikaans. It will make it so much easier if they can see from the word go that the hood is an Afrikaans hood. This will also attract locals which will be in the same time zone as you which will ceate a joint game play.

I will appreciate it if they will consider adding Afrikaans.
